Had a wonderful four days with my son and his family!  My little Emily is now 7 months old and growing up way too fast....seems like just yesterday I was hurrying down there when she was born.

I packed all my food for the trip coming and going and was able to stay on plan.  My Carb Up day  (kind of like a free pass day) was Friday and enjoyed some delicious Italian meatloaf and rosemary potatoes my DIL made for lunch and then went sight seeing in Nashville for the afternoon.  Ate dinner in a great seafood place and had a great shrimp trio dish with coconut shrimp, grilled and shrimp stuffed with crabmeat....with rice and steamed veggies.  Managed to pass on the key lime pie (one of my favorites).  Also passed up anything at Coldstone Creamery the next day.  The best thing about it all?  Absolutely no cravings or hunger pangs!!  I was so afraid re-introducing the carbs this past week (allowed now everyday for breakfast and every other day at lunch also) would ignite that once again.

Was very happy to get on the scale this morning and have lost another pound....that's 11.5 in two weeks!  Today starts Week 3 and this week am allowed Carb Up days on both Wednesday and Friday.  My SO is already looking forward to the broccoli and linguini with clam sauce that I have planned for dinner on Wednesday.  No sweets allowed again this week....they get re-introduced in Week 4.

So far so good, and will continue to post my menu and progress.  I haven't been able to stay off those scales though.
