What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?
I went to my Sister's birthday party today, so food wise...I got nothin' to be proud of.
But I ran into an old friend of mine that I hadn't seen in a few years at the mall and she couldn't believe it was me. So I'm proud that I no longer get that sinking feeling when I see someone I know, knowing that they are probably wondering....what the hell happened to her???

Dontcha love it when someone doesn't recognize you 'cuz you look so hot?!
I'm proud that several people told me I looked skinny today. I was wearing my white pants, which are now almost too loose to wear, with regular panties and I didn't even have panty lines....in white pants, no less! WTG Kimmie
Now hold on to your white britches, Sister...I didn't say I looked 'hot'. And she said I don't look like my old self. And she kept looking at my chest with that question in her eyes...where'd those utters go??? But I didn't say a word.
OMG, I'm so proud that your white pants are getting too big! Way to go skinny.

WOOHOO!!! Man, my memory was so bad that I couldn't believe I got through the pretrip when I did it with an 18 wheeler! LOL That was the year we had to PARALLEL PARK a 40' BOX on the driver's test! I knocked over 2 cones! The examiner looked down and said "you passed". I said "Thank God". He then said "YOU"RE WELCOME".. LMAO
I'm kinda jealous that you'll be driving! I never got behind the wheel of a semi again after that. My brother forbid me from taking the job... so it was fun just getting the license!
Good luck in your new endeavor.... I can't wait to hear how your first day went!!
It is cool to have the CDL. I have a class B with passenger and school bus endorsements.
My instructor was actually very impressed with my backing skills. I was backing a pusher (snub nose) into a parking space between two other busses (about 3ft on each side) and had 40' busses parked at a slant in front of me and whipped her right in. It was very tight to say the least.
Just so people know, bus drivers are hard to get and hard to keep. If you really need income check your local bus lot. I guarantee they will be hiring especially this time of year. Holly? This might bring in just enough extra income and work around your kids' schedules as well. Just a thought but I am also thinking Alaska bus driving might be an adventure in itself. hmmmm?
Thanks for the support everyone. I am really starting to look forward to it now.
