The true test.....

Leaving in the morning for KY to go see my little darling...almost seven months old now.  A road trip usually means for me to stock up on Twizzlers (only time I ever eat them is vacation), Slim Jim's and assorted candy bars.  Believe me, that's usually what I travel with....sad, huh?  And I wonder why I have a weight problem.

Been on my new plan here for 10 days now and haven't gone off once.  I have my cooler packed with all the food I need for the weekend (coming home Sunday or Monday) and a little lunch sized one packed for what I need on the road tomorrow.  I eat 3 meals and 2-3 snacks and I've got all the bases covered.  Going by myself this time and I tend to also be a sneak eater, but have books on CD for trip down and back and planning on eating breakfast before I leave, snacks while driving, and will stop at a nice rest area for a little picnic lunch.

My motivation is still very high and I have NO cravings or hunger on this plan so expect I will do well.  My first Carb Up day is Friday so can eat with very few restrictions that day and plan on enjoying both lunch and dinner out with my son and his wife and splurigng a little (all allowed...the beauty of this program).

Will let you all know how I did when I return.  Keep up the good work everyone and see you on the flip side.
