Good morning
Good morning everyone!
Went to the dentist yesterday to have him check out my face and jaws. He immediately got on me about my teeth grinding. He said I have the straitest teeth ever (from grinding). I won't have no teeth left pretty soon.ha He also asked if I was stressing more than normal, and of course..yes. He said it's causing my TMJ to act up and to stop stressing. He pinched my cheeks in areas and OMG it hurt so bad. He said my whole face is like a massive tension ball. He told me to try a few things and if it doesn't work within a few days to come back for some muscle relaxants. So last night I decided I needed a few drinks to see if that would relax me. I went off my diet but that's alright, I felt like I needed it. It didn't make my headache go away at all. I was taking shots after shots, and my face still hurt. My dh on the other hand had the time of his life. We never drink to that extent, so I'm glad he had fun. Today's he's paying for it though. hehe So now I've gained two pounds just from last night. I'm actually fine with it, it will come off fast. Actually, I feel REALLY good about it. I usually play such a guilt trip on myself to where I end up binging again. Today though I woke up excited to get back on the ball though.. It's a nice feeling, it will be a good day even though my head feels like it's gonna explode.
Now my question... I'm trying to avoid fruits right now but I'm starting to get awful charlie horses in the middle of the night. I have leg issues as well, so I really don't want this. Any suggestions other than the bananas? I know I know this, but with my head pounding along with my face I just can't seem to think straight. I can't have sugar so gatorade is out. Anyone know??

If you're not eating fruit, I'll assume you're trying to go low carb. Other good sources are beet greens, yogurt, halibut, tuna, lima beans and spinach. The low sodium V8 has a lot of potassium, but the carbs also.
