Went out to dinner tonight at a marvelous Italian restaurant and ate on plan....delicious scallop and crab stuffed sole over escarole and white beans!!

On the way home I was DYING for one of those new things they're advertising on TV for Taco Bell (forget the name) or a chocolate almond waffle cone from Abbott's (local great ice cream).  I managed to drive by both and instead stopped at Mc Donald's and got a 3 point vanilla cone.

Proud of myself!!

Mary, I so feel you on your proud moment! It took me years to be victorious most of the time, instead of the other way around! Congrats...

For me: instead of skipping it altogether, took a walk after supper - 45 minutes! Got up way too late after a night of tossing and turning.

It may have taken us a while to get here, but it feels good to be mostly right! Cheers

You need to find out why you're are having sleeping issues.  It stops your weight loss ya know?  Of course you know that.  Neecee knows everything!

oh I WISH I knew everything! And thanks for your reply...most days I am getting enough sleep, I make it up by staying bed in the morning.

Early this week, I was making myself get up regardless of when I went to sleep. Did not help; even tho I felt tired the next night, all it did was make me go around sleep deprived for the past two days. . I am pretty sure it is hormones!

I just  miss my morning wog...it starts my day out just right. I can think about my day and plan effecitvely without anyone talking to me. I am compulsive enough to get enough exercise. (tho this damnable smoke is challenging my last nerve here!

Hope your surgery pal is okay - is she????

Good for you for staying on plan.  You go girl!
I'm proud that I scheduled my last PS px (other than my revisions).  I can't wait to be DONE 4ever!  And I'm proud that I made it out to The Woodlands and back (despite having a horrible anxiety attack).

What have I done today to make me feel proud? I'm proceeding with day two of my nutritional cleanse although the thought of a nice, creamy, vanilla shake with fruit sounds (and is) delicious. I know I've been needing this cleanse. Since I dropped 4 lbs yesterday hubby expected me to go ahead and do the shake and regular meals today. NOPE! I've learned the value of a two day cleanse. So, basically, what I am proud of is that I can stick to a plan in spite of being the only one in my household doing it, and be HAPPY about it. I love feeling so much lighter and cleaner. I'm "proud" of my decision to live a healthy life, clean and lean. Plus I'm going to enjoy wearing my pretty hot pink dress tomorrow night at the wedding... ;-)

Hi moms!  That is a hallmark moment fer shur, to defeat the Family ways of eating!!!! My awesome DH can be a major deterrant to how I need to eat! Every weekend, almost, he asks...hey about fried potatoes and eggs???? French toast????? pancakes???? HMMMMM?????

I mean, I do eat it once in a blue moon, but like 1-2 x a year is about all I can afford anymore!!!!

He kind of backs off nowadays when EYE send consistent messages...hun, I cannot EAT like that.....

You got, it, my friend...WE have to be the voice of reason here!!!!!

Yes, my husband has to eat a LOT just to keep from losing weight. He eats exceptionally healthy though, which is a plus. He has a shake, then breakfast, then sometimes a bar, then lunch, then another shake, or dinner followed by a shake -JUST to keep weight on!!!  But at least all of us in the household are doing the same healthy food routines - I'm just not eating as much! :-)

I remember one very trying time when I was so close to achieving my weight loss goal and I was on a cleanse day, my daughter and her BF got this delicious looking pizza. EVERYBODY was telling me to GO AHEAD, have a slice...  and that was not a fun moment. Now, when I cleanse (been doing it for 2 years) I'm not even slightly tempted. Although I must say, last night, the Klondike bar did look tasty...
