Weight loss trackers and journals
Hey everyone,
Has anyone else noticed a difference on their calorie intake on the different tracker websites. I just compared my daily intake on the Daily Plate vs. Fit Day and they came up over 300 calories different!
So many people put in different things that it's a mess. I'm missing my Calorie King, but I refuse to pay for another year membership. I just can't seem to get into these two journals. Guess I'm still stuck on Calorie King (it's one a bariatric doctor recommended to me a few years ago).
What has everyone else done with this problem? Because 1042 vs. 700 calories a day is a big difference! It's not only the calories, but your daily balance of fats, proteins, and carbs are different a little bit too. I also use the Nutrition Data website, but haven't compared that one to the others. I just did that one really fast and that one says I ate 900 calories. ARGGH!
Any suggestions?
I'd suggest you get on the internet and look up www.fitday.com. It tracks all kinds of things for you - fats, carbs, proteins, calories, etc.

It's all in the terminology, i think - that has to be the difference. You probably are not comparing apples to apples.
I love fitday. Now I have so many of my own recipes in there i know it like the back of my hand.
I also use the companion , or sister website. i think it's called restaurantfoods; i'll see if I can find it again for sure for you? You can find thousands of store foods and restaurant foods - and it will drop into fitday.
