What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

I hoed the garden.  Went to court for speeding and expired license tickets. Got the expired license ticket dropped. The cops had me dead to rights on the speeding. She clocked me just as I looked down and noticed how fast I was going. Oh well....only ticket I have ever had in 22 years of driving.  By the grace of God, I FINALLY rid my child's hair of head lice. I pray he continues to help me keep them at bay. I have used lindane TWICE, OTC lice treatment and cat shampoo x3 over the last 3 weeks. Finally, a wise old woman gave me a home remedy that seems to have worked...1tbs rubbing alcohol, 1tbs vinegar, and 1tbs Dawn dish washing liquid. Add to enough water to saturate the hair and leave sit for a while. I left it until it was almost dry. Rinse and comb out the nits and dead lice. I added one step I found on the internet and seems to have done the trick on my 15 yr old. After the home remedy, I had her wash her hair with T-Gel and leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse. After all this, I found TWO eggs and that was it. Pray for me that this is finally over. Great going today gals. Keep those wonderful moments coming. Beth

lol My birthday may not be soon enough. That's all the way in March. Now my anniversary would work. It's this month. lol Apparently, the sooner the better in my case. lol oh a break sounds sweeet as long as the break he gives me isn't a bone! lmao AMEN sista! AMEN Beth
