What Have You Done Today to Make You Feel Proud?

As many of you know, I had the last of my plastic surgery two months ago to get rid of the loose skin on my inner thighs, which is the reason for my snail's pace workouts lately.  After my three mile stroll today, I decided it was time to once again become the Cardio Queen.   So after I delicately climbed onto the elliptical, I started off just barely turning the wheel.  After about three minutes, a damned LOOOONG three minutes, my incisions started feeling really tight and painful, so I decided to give up my endeavor to be queen, and got the hell off as fast as I could.  Thank goodness I didn't hurt masself! Later, I was making my Atkins chilli and while I was standing at the stove, POW Shock 2 , sharp pain in my incision line.  So for today, I'm proud to say that I have sense not to do that again!!!Cool Mary

 Bow Down Before You Lori, you are my gym heroine and one day I'm going to get back to rocking my workouts like you are right now.  I so jealous!  I hope you whip that scale's tailfeathers! Mary

Hey... I wanna learn that trick..yanno.. the sense enough to know when enough is enough!  LOLOLOLOL Back to kicking the scale (or maybe it changed cause I literally kicked it) tee hee   Back down to 208 tonight.. AMEN   This beeboppity crap is enough to drive me insane! ... ps.. I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING today to be proud of!  <-- and I'm proud of that! hahhahahhaa

Good for you. Today I bit my tongue when an extremely rude co-worker made a scathing remark.  She is a bully. We all know it.  And to react makes it worse. She has been let go and her last day is this coming Friday.  In spite of everything I do hurt for her because she confided one day that she just 'can't keep a job'.  Hmmmmmmmmmm. Very very qualified within her field.  But it will be a relief next Monday to not have to work with her.

 Clapping Hands I hope your tongue wasn't bleeding from you clamping down on it!  But you know, this is probably not the first time that she has been told she needs to get her personality under control, so she is responsible for her own future.  It's kinda hard to feel sorry for someone who has been warned, but chooses to terrorize her coworkers anyway.  She's a very selfish person. Maybe you'll lose a few more pounds now that she is gone.  All of that stress produces too much cortisol. Imagine, all of that drama and you didn't overeat...way to go, girl! Mary

I didn't eat that taco soup!  I'm proud of me for that, because it STILL sounds good!  Other than that I haven't done nothing but clean.  My allergies are acting up in the house, that's a sign I have to have a clean day and wash everything in sight. I also drank my water today.  I use to be so good at drinking it, but I have slacked really bad. Yanno, trying to not eat in between meals is really hard when your not use to it.  Can't wait until this feeling will go away.  It will take me a few days.  I'm enjoying it, but I'm finding myself breaking on occasion.   But really not that bad though.  Like today I ended up having a string cheese and an otter pop.  I'm still ok with calories, but makes me think that maybe I was eating more than just one snack in between meals!  Remember what I told you Mary...obsessed!  My minds feeling a little less "cluttered". :)

 Too Funny Girl, after the way that taco soup was taunting you, it's a major accomplishment that you didn't eat any of it! I'm going to have to say that 'obsessed' is not strong enough.  Now you  just need to find the perfect plan for you.  The problem with Medifast is that it did nothing to prepare you for maintenance.  You were left with all of the old behaviors that made you a little chunkee in the first place.  But if your thinker is a stinker and you can't decide on a specific diet, then start on other things you can do for your health.  Like the water...that's a good one to concentrate on because it will help to fill you up.  And if you think you are eating more than you thought, maybe you could eat only sitting at the table and concentrate on what you are putting in your mouth.  What kind of a workout program are you working?   Thank goodness you got your mind less cluttered.  I personally blame those young'uns masself!  I'd be forgetting what I ate too. I took my happy butt to the doctor because I have been putting it off for 10 days (since we got back) and really needed to go.  I will spare you the details but suffice to say that they think I have an intestinal parasite or some sort of bacterial infection as a result of eating in MEXICO.  I am not sure if I totally think this is it (several reasons) but I am going to take the antibiotic like a good girl and go on a clear liquid diet for 48 hours per their instructions.  I am sure that will help my weight loss, which I am proud to say so far is 3.5 pounds!  WOOHOO....proud of that!
