Thank you, Janina. I appreciate the kind words. It sure does give a gal an ego boost.  B: ff sf yogurt, 2c mixed raw veggies(mainly cukes and cauli) L: 2 fresco crunchy taco, 2 drinks fruitista freeze S: popsicle S: 1/2c sf ice cream, 2tbsp sf cool whip, 1/3c splenda sweetened berries (blue, rasp, and straw) D: small tortilla w/ 1/3c chorizo, 1tbsp black olives, 1/4c shredded cheese; 1/2 black beans w/ corn and salsa S: 2 popsicles, 1/2**** cream with 1/4c splenda swtnd berries I was a freakin' ice cream and popsicle fiend today. It was so hot that it tasted better than usual. Exercise: none Janina, I think you may be too low on cals. Maybe you could add some fruit , oatmeal, protein of some sort as snacks or to your meals. I don't think you need a TON of calories but I think an additional 3-400 would probably be good. Your body's like a furnace. You gotta fuel it or you can't burn. You just smolder. So by adding snacks, you keep it stoked but not overfed. I hope that helps.

You might have hit the nail on the head....   personally, I don't think you're eating too much... in fact, there were days that I looked at your menu and raised my eyebrows.  The exercise may be something you need.  I gotta tell ya.. I dropped the first 60 lbs or so without barely moving off the couch, but as time went on, I saw that I needed to improve my lung function and heart rate - which in turn probably helped with circulation and somewhere in there.. the additional weight loss.   What about trying an experiment?  DON'T reduce your calories.. lol  How about start with a 15 minute walk a few times a week, see if it makes a difference, not just in your weight loss, but your energy level as well? Hmmmm?  Whacha think?

I think I've reached that point where I'm willing to try anything.  I have a treadmill in my room, so I'll get on it this weekend for 15-20 minutes or something each time.  Thanks girlie!

Do you happen to have a WII????   When I do the do at home, I whip out the WII Bowling or tennis so my arms move too and I don't get so bored.  If it weren't for my Ipod, I couldn't handle the boring hours in the gym lemme tell ya!

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm Started with a ste *** w/1 whole egg and 1 egg white (about 300 cal w/the cheese) went to the gym... did  30 minutes eliptical 30 minutes treadmill 20 minutes eliptical 20 minutes treadmill When there was no more sweat coming out of me, I figured it was time to stop LOL    WHAT?? NO MORE SWEAT! Came home and ate the same thing that I ddi this morning.  (I like stea**** they're tasty and 100 calories for a piece and zero carbs.. so what the hell). I dunno what I'm gonna eat later.  I'm making the kids a meatloaf and roasted potatoes... so I KNOW I'm not eating that stuff (I make their meatloaf with the breadcrumbs, eggs, cheese.. blah blah...  onion soup mix.. whatever). I dunno.. there are some scallops and shrimp in the freezer and I picked me some nice tomatoes out of the garden.... maybe i'll have some of that.

I love the stea**** too. I like to break them up and add them to sauteed onions and green peppers and add swiss cheese...my version of philly steak and cheese. It is sooooooooooooo good and good for you.  I want your tomatoes. Mine aren't ripe yet. Whaaaah!!! I can't wait until my garden explodes.

awwwwwwwwwe.. Bethy...  that's the great thing about SC.. the early gardens.  I stagger the planting, so even as I'm plucking some ripe ones, I have new plants coming up.  I have full grown peppers, baby ones, and plants still coming up.  :)  Sunflowers and green beans, oregano, parsley, basil, peppermint (I use a lot of parsley, oregano and basil).  My zucchini is about to explode and even the yellow squash has flowers.  I didn't do corn, eggplant, habaneros (yuck) or cantaloupe this year.. no strawberries either.  Ah..  I'll be getting nice veggies right into November. I break up the stea**** in scrambled eggs too.  Those suckers are pretty good for 100 calories ea!

I've got the zucchini. Nice sized ones, too. Tomatoes will be a week or two yet. Got swiss chard and broccoli and peas on.  I will have to try the scrambled eggs. Maybe it will make them taste better. I'm not an egg fan but I don't mind them as much when things are added to them.
