Snoopy, I'm sorry I missed your question a few posts back. I wish I could answer for you but I am not sure. I think it would be a lot less confusing if you started your week on a Monday since Wendy has the program samples all set to start on Mondays. I guess if it were me personally, I would do the deplete until Monday and then start week 2, but please do what you think is right for you. Good luck.

Do not stay on Week 1 if you completed it successfully!.  Go by 7 days, it doesn't necessarily have to start with Monday.  I started on a Thursday because our classes were on Wed night.  That gave me the carb up days on Wednesdays (after weigh in) and Saturdays.  You can change your days but stay with the pattern.  Always have a low carb day before a high carb day.

Good evening everyone!  I got home today from the lake.  Ready to start first thing in the morning.  Went shopping today to get lots of yummy chicken, tuna, salads, veggies and such.  My book should ship on Tuesday or Wednesday per the email.  Can't wait to get it so I can read it thru and know exactly what I'll be doing.  Thanks to all that posted examples!!  I'll check out the website too!

I'm making a list of foods and recipes tonight so I can see them at a quick glance and know what I can have without having to think too much about it.  I plan to weigh myself and even take measurements (something I haven't done in years!!) tomorrow morning.

Hey snoopy,

Thanks for the good advice.  I really like the spinach with the egg.  It adds a lot more substance.  6 1/2 pounds in less than a week is fantastic!!!  The drinking trick is really helping me too.  When I get bored with water, I go to green tea....that is okay, right?  I am hoping it is.  I just had steak with broccoli tonight...I never thought that I would feel SATISFIED with so little food.  I think it is the combination of eating so often, drinking and a totally committed mind set.  Having  everyone here to bounce ideas off of and get support from is truly helping me so much!!!!

 

Keep up the good work ladies.....Let's see how much we can all lose together by September 1st!!!!!!!!!!!

 

For those of you will the weight counter on the bottoms of your postings, how do you do that??

I think you can have green tea.  She recommends Stevia or Splenda for sweetners, not aspartame, which I think is in green tea.  I too have enjoyed less hunger on this plan, but read above where it comes back when you reintroduce carbs.

Thanks for all the HUGS guys....getting through the wedding was tough, but it's weird how now that i'm not there looking at the food, it wasn't actually that painful not eating everything.  I knew i didn't want to spoil 4 days of hard work and have to start over==wasn't worth that!!!  That's what i keep telling myself when i get a craving.

Hey everyone!  It's Monday!  My first day on the program.  How did everyone do over the weekend?  I tried not to go too crazy with carbs before starting.  Today went pretty smoothly.  I had a couple moments on the way home from work due to stress I just wanted to bring home a pizza for the family (mostly because I wanted it) but i resisted and came home and ate a large hamburger patty with lettuce dipped in mayo/mustard.  YUMMY!!   I'm actually still full!  At first when I was done eating, my mind was telling me I couldn't possibly be full....I haven't eaten any carbs like bread, pasta or rice!!

I know Jodi, isn't it weird how less hungry you are with the protein! I actually had trouble eating all the meals when I did the first 7 days. Now that I have added a little carb at lunch for my carb up days, it causes a little hunger. It is quickly satisfied with the next protein meal but still I loved the no hunger for the first seven days. I am very nervous about tomorrow with the baseline day and having 2 carbs but yet very excited at the same time.

I am so totally upset at the postal service right now. Ok first I ordered the book from a used seller on Amason and the book was shipped that night according to the seller. That was July 2nd, I to this day have not received it and the seller felt so bad he refunded my money immediately and he swears he shipped it and he has eccelent feedback so I know this to be true. The I ordered one directly from Amason which I am the same as Beth, I live in Michigan and my book got shipped to Tennessee. It started at Allen Park Michigan so why did it have to go out of state? The delivery day was suppose to be today and still no book. When I went to the actual postal site to track it, all it says is it has left Tennessee on July 12th. I am so glad that I downloaded the book from diesel books and had that so I could start the plan but I am very angry at the postal service right now. I have never ever had bad luck with Amazon so I know it is not them. Sorry to vent so much guys, just frustrated. I want to give the book to my friend and sister so they can get started to. I did also order the DVD from Wendy's site and recieved them a day earlier than expected but of course that came via UPS. I love the companion book and the DVD but probably wouldn't have paid the $99 for it had I know it was exactly what the book says. The companion book is the best because it has all the sample meals in one place but the DVD is pretty much what the book says just Wendy is explaining it.

Snoopy, I'm sorry I missed your question a few posts back. I wish I could answer for you but I am not sure.
