I did (2) 8 week sessions and have been in the "Veteran's Program" since then.  We meet one on one with Wendy and get plans that are different than the standard 8 week cycle plans.  I'm lucky to live in the Orlando area and have direct teachings from Wendy.  She is incredible and has become a good friend.  I am so proud of her!  You can contact her at www.joinforeverfit.com but because of the recent volume, some of the emails questions are being answered by some of the Lifestyle coaches.  You may have trouble getting the book right now as several places are sold out and they had to go to a second printing (yeah!).  I think that Wendy should have more in about a week.  If you get it from the website, she'll autograph it for you.  There's also the DVD which has the full 8 week cycle and includes a log book, companion guide, recipe book, and 2 free coaching sessions.  That's $99 plus shipping.  I helped pack up orders yesterday so I know that she has some of those in stock.  I'm not an employee or anything, I just help her out on occasion because I'm grateful that she's been so helpful to me.

HI! So I am on my 7th day of the first cycle of this plan and I had  a question... I wake up at night and before the plan I would snack on sweets which was a large contribution to weight gain but I still have been waking up at night on the plan but I have just been having a few slices of turkey i put in the fridge...since turkey is allowed on the plan is that ok or do I have to start the first cycle over again with no eating at night at all?
Thanks!

Oh it's so nice to have you Jerri on this forum.  And Michelle, you were right - Days 4 and 5 were so much better for me.  I'm back to my old self.  Kind of at a stand still wavering between 7 and 7 and a half pounds but for only 5 days, I'm very pleased!! I originally thought this program sounded complicated but have now figured out how it can fit into your everyday life.  Hopefully I will be able to put it into action during my vacation without seeing any great increases in my weight.  Fingers crossed. So how is the start of Week 2 Chelle? I'm still eagerly awaiting my reintroduction to carbs.  I visited the Whole Foods store today and picked up some Apple Cider vinegar, Ezekiel and complete protein bread, Stevia, bagels (which I haven't had one of those in years!!), and a few other staples Wendy mentioned.  I have been trying to "eat clean" for a few years now and lost about 60 pounds (combined with exercise).  But I have been at a plateau for almost a year (even with exercise).  I'm hoping Wendy's program blasts me through that.  It's definitely a new experience. Thanks and take care everyone!  -- Sandra

I plan to read it!  I for one believe in shaking htings up - food, exercise alla time. Our bodies always seek homeostasis, or balance, so tricking it iis what we have to do - keep the system guessing! One comment:  glycogen is also created from protein or fat if the body thinks it has to. So, those who think eating only fats and/or protein may be surprised to learn that glucogen creation will happen no matter what. It is the currency our brains use as well as muscles. I will get that book from the library if ican!

Hi! I joined this group, just to encourage those trying this, and to share my experience.  I have been on tons of the diets, etc.  Nothing ever made me think.. "now , this I can do for the rest of my life "~ until I stumbled onto Wendy Chant's Program and book.  I just finished week 8...( it gets soooo much better! ) I lost 16 lbs, and so many inches I lost track as they were measuring.  (I get the results back in a week when I start the second cycle but I went from squeezing into a pair of size 18 shorts to wearing a 14.)  I am doing her maintenance program now, in between cycles, and feel positive that this will be the program that will help me become fit- FOREVER!   I am fortunate enough to live in Central Florida and can attend Wendy's Nutrition Boot Camp in person.  She is a motivating speaker and lives what she teaches.  But I know anyone can accomplish thier goals of living a healthy and fit lifestyle with this program. I will keep you all up to date as I start the second cycle... and YES... I am so happy that I do not have to do carb deplete again!!!!!! S

I have just finished week one and really like this program but am glad to be able to have a few carbs this week! Wendy says you can have a fudgesicle on baseline days but she doesn't give any direction.....like how many carbs to limit it too, etc. I typically eat Weigh****cher or Skinny Cow Fudgesicles. Do you know what kind is the best to eat? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Chellelynn how is it going at this point........I just read about this program in First magazine and I purchased the book online from Amazon.com.  I am eager to know if it actually works I am tired of yo-yo dieting. I have tried doing low carbs in the past but I always seem to plateau after I lose 10-12lbs.  I like the idea of tricking your body by introducing carbs again.  I can't wait to get started.

Hey Guys~ I have to be honest, I feel like I am really struggling now that I have reintroduced carbs, I have weighed my self every day, big mistake!! In the begining, I dropped 11 lbs really fast, since I started the macro pattering week, I have gained 4 back! what the heck, I dont know what I am doing wrong, maybe its just my body adjusting to getting back some carbs or maybe its just my weight fluctuating, retaining water and all, in the begining I was using the sauna at my gym, and I know that that will help shed water weight, I have gotten very discouraged though:0(... Tomorrow will be my 12th day on the program, and Also the 4th of July so I know it will be a challenge to eat on the plan, But I will do my best!
