mtinaharris,

I went to the following site and downloaded a free trial version of BitZipper and was able to open the file as a PDF and printed out the entire book.  I am on the second day of week 2.  I know I did lose weight especially on my stomach but I am not sure how much because I did not weigh myself at the beginning (I was just so disgusted).  Anyway, heres the link http://www.bitzipper.com/wizard-unzip.html.

The Best,

Hi,

I've been trying to find 'Crack the Fat Loss Code' in a pdf format so I can read it from my laptop as I travel (Army).  I saw that you had it downloaded.....would you send it to me please?  The indicated webpage link no longer works.

Many thanks,

I'm nearing the end of Day 3 so I'm really looking forward to Days 4 & 5 if they will bring better feelings. Ugh!  I've now read the whole book and realize that once I get through this awful week I never have to do it again so I'm trudging through no matter what!  When I woke up this morning I was down 7 pounds!   That's a nice feeling but I need to lose 30 - 35 more.  Will we gain some back once we add carbs or will it continue to take from our fat stores? I'm hoping for the latter. I didn't start on a Monday because we are going on vacation in a little over a week and I wanted to start it right away to see what I could lose beforehand.  Now that I know more about the plan, I'm not so sure I should have started before a vacation.  I do NOT want to do this carb deplete week again so I will do my best to stick to the plan while on vacation.  I've reworked the days a bit to have my carb up days when we are on the plane (much easier to pack carbs and we have evening flights).   And I've printed out the log sheets for each day I'm away so that I'll know what to do. 11 pounds is super!  Keep it up, girl.  I can't wait until Week 2 (I'm envious that you are closer to that than me, LOL) --Sandra

I am happy to say that I am thrilled with this program.  I've lost 70 lbs in the past year altho I'm not always totally perfect with the plan.   The first week isn't too bad but does take some commitment.  Don't worry, you'll get through it.  I lost 19 lbs during the first cycle.   I've had the pleasure of working directly with Wendy.  My background is in Food & Nutrition (college and 15 years experience in healthcare management) so I didn't think that Wendy could teach me anything new but I thought that I'd try it anyway.  I have a deep respect for her information and I now know how to apply my knowledge to how my body works.   I'm proud to call Wendy my friend and mentor and will recommend the plan for anybody.   I thought of every excuse as to why the program wouldn't work and realized that I was just trying to justify my lack of motivation and comittment. "First" magazine hits the stands today but I haven't been able to get it yet.  It features my friends Rachel & Jenny.  They are real people and their stories are true.

Thanks for your input Jerri~ I just started week 2 today, I was wondering how many time you went through the 8 week boot camp to lose the 70lbs? I need to lose more than 100 lbs! so far I am down 11.

You are doing great and I'm proud of you!  I went through the classroom program twice and I'm in the "Veteran's Program" now for the past year. Veterans meet one on one with Wendy and she gives us different plans every 2 weeks.  She also helps me get back on track if I slip or if I have special occasions coming up that I want to splurge at.   I still have probably another 40 lbs to go.  I want to get to 22% body fat.  It's exciting to go from mobidly obese (started at 50%) to obese (now at 31-32%) and am now on the verge of being just plain fat!     For those that have read the July 21st edition of "First" magazine, Rachel & Jenni are real people and their accomplishments are truthful.  Just stick to the first week and the rest is very reasonable and do-able.  I do work out a few times a week but nothing really stressful.  The workouts are patterned also and she does go into that later in the book.

Hey Jerri,

I was wondering if you lost the 70 pounds doing 2 8-week sessions, or if her classroom sessions were a different timeline.  I saw the ad in First as well, and I'm searching for the book (I'm finally going to order it online), and i plan on starting tomorrow or the next day.  I'm very excited about stumbling on this plan (I wasn't even looking for it - just saw the magazine and thought "What the heck"...)after reading how the plan works i got very excited.  I have experience in the medical field, and know a lot about how the body works, but to have someone lay out the facts of glycogen and hitting the plateau and sailing through --- let's just say i'm totally ecstatic.   I thought it was cool that you know Jenni and Rachel -- sometimes I wonder if those people in the mags are real....Have you talked to Wendy Chant personally?  Met her?  How do you go about contacting her? I'm looking forward to joining the "Slim-down" boot camp club!!!
