Good morning everyone, I am on week 4 and am down 12 pounds and thinking week 5-6 wil show even more of a loss.

Hi everyone ,I am into my 3rd week and was wondering if I should be drinking as much green tea as I do,I drink between 4 to 5 cups a day . Thanks

Hi, everyone--I'm new, but have been catching up on the posts. You guys are such an inspiration! I, too, read the article in First, but waited to get the book to start the program (went to the nearest Books-a-Million and picked it right up). I'm on Day 2 of the Carb Deplete Cycle (and terrified of Day 3!). Mostly joining just for some moral support!  I think I'll need it over the next few weeks. My goal is to lose 30lbs. Anyone have any benchmark for how long that should take?

Also--for Jerri--where is Wendy located? I'm in Palm Coast (Flagler Co), FL.

Welcome Laurie, I know someone who lost 30 pounds in 2 cycles of the eight weeks. I am at 10-13 pounds on week 6. My wight varies about 3 pounds throughout the week but always ends up lower.

Day 3 is not as bad as I thought--in fact, I am feeling pretty good. Much better than yesterday. Is it possible that Day 2 was my "bad" day?  Or is this just the lull before the storm so to speak?

And thanks, Deb...I didn't really expect to lose it all in 8 weeks (although wouldn't that be great!?!), but I AM hoping that I can get to where I want to be in 16 weeks.  So hopefully that is where I'll end up.

You can start to layer in exercise next week, right?

Day four was the worst for me but everyone is different.
I didn't exercise at all the first week because I was feeling weak and crapy already. Since then I have not exercised a whole lot which is why I haven't lost as much as some others.

Hello everyone I'm new to this forum and hope that my msg will be posted, I just came back from a consultation with a dietition and was given the usual 1600 calorie diet plan of rotating carbs with doesn't really do me any good.  I have tried countless diets in the past and my introduction to Wendy Chant's Crack the Fat Loss Code is the only thing that makes even the most remote sense to anyone who has had a problem with weight loss for practically all of her life.  So ladies I'm going to be starting the plan at the end of the week bcs I practically broke from all of the dr's appts I have had in the past 2 weeks.  Wish me the best, I know I'm looking for encouragement from all of you.  I have the book from the library and will be attempting to hunt it down at the local Barnes and Noble bookstore.  I promise I'll write about the good/bad/ and hopefully not so ugly when I start the plan.
