Jerri---I have a favor to ask.....Can you tell me, or ask Wendy------->>>>Is there any reason my relatively healthy 14 year old daughter couldn't do the first week on this plan???  The doctor wants her to loose weight and she actually expressed interest in doing this WOE with me....My only concern would be whether week one would be safe for her, and if not, would it be effective enough to have her start week 2 with me and skip week one???

She is 14, 5 ft. 5 in., and weighs about 230.  She is active in sports, but has struggled with weight and high cholesterol since she was 6.  I'm concerned on how to manage this WOE once she starts school (would have to pack her lunch and not sure she could get all the meals in)...We would like to give it a try however.

The catch------>>>>>  I'm starting this Monday the 28th, and I would like to start her with me so we are in sync.  I'd appreciate any advice you all can give me in the meantime.

Thanks!  Suzanne

I don't remember if I answered you or not but there is no reason that she can't.  I would make sure that's ok with her physician.  They have had teens and kids in the class and on the program.

Thanks!  I just have to figure out how to do this for her with school starting.

Hey yall....Lost 8 1/2 pounds the first 3 days, stalled yesterday, but it was a bad day.  Didn't get all my meals in, water, etc., ate late....Found out an ex-boyfriend killed himself July 4th (he was scott terrill who was on an episode of Supernanny 1/23/08 with 2 small boys)....

My advice to all of you---do not stray off this plan if at all possible (especially week one)....I did week one a few weeks ago and didn't follow it strictly, and i only lost 6 total pounds...i'm already past that and then some, and it's day 5 for me.

Good luck, and great job to all you loosers!  tee hee

Hi everyone!
I am starting this weight program in the morning.  I have been keeping an eye on all your messages all along the way. Just love it all!

My book came last week, so much to learn!  I have done Atkins, South Beach, but just didn't succeed.  I felt better but the weight losses stopped and refused to move!  Of course, my husband did great and kept it up!!  It is scary starting this, I want it to work so bad!  I am also scared I will goof it up!  It is more structured sounding than the others, so it will be learning!

Wish me luck here, I have about 35 pounds to loose.  I had weighed 254, had a gastric bypass (Feb. 1999), lost all 100 pounds, then 40+ crept back on, grazing, you know will do it!  So structure is a thing I must learn!

Best wishes to everyone, you have sure given me enthusiasm to get going!

HI, just to report in today.  I am doing great, on day 2 of the first week.  I lost 2# as of this morning. Lots of wee wee trips, Does that count as exercise????..LOL just kidding..Got the water in, wasn't hungry, but missed the middle of the night search and seizure of snacks, because I slept ALL NIGHT!  WOW!  That is unusual in it's self for me.  My biggest problem yesterday was with broccoli..I like it but plain was just a forced thing...

Day 3 here, as of this morning I lost 4# on week 1!  Can't figure how this happened to me! It's a miracle  =>  =) !  It was so easy, I feel okay, a slight sinus headache today but that is normal in this heat and humidity.  Slept again last night!  WOW!  I am so happy!  Wasn't home all day but stuck tight to this!

Hi.  For anybody that ordered a book from Wendy, she did get them yesterday.  She autographed them and shipped this am.  Thank you for your patience and support!

Hi all,  I have not been able to post the past few days due to internet problems but that is fixed now.  I weighed in monday and have lost 6 lbs. Its not as much as some but its good for me. This year I have realy strugled to shed even one lb a week so I am proud of myself. I weighed myself yesterday to to be sure that having a carb at breakfast on monday didn't make me gain. Guess what? It did not. Still 6lbs lighter. Today is day 3 week 2 for me. Today is also the birthday of a co-worker. That means every one is bringing in a dish so I will have to be strong. I am making every ones favorite spinach dip ( I will have a small spoon full) and there will also be chicken, greek potatos(I can have these for lunch) what I can not have is the bread with the spinach dip the cheese cake(my favorite)or the tortilla chips with the cheese dip. I think I will do fine but I might stop at the store on the way to work and get a sugar free jello cup to deture me from the sweets being brought in. I'll have it for afternoon snack , thats when temptation starts to kick my butt. So far I am doing good. There has been a box of pralines on the counter a work since monday and I have not eat one. Any way got to go make spinach dip now. Hope to hear from you all soon.

OMG....started this on Monday, 7/28....so this is Day 4 of Week 1 and I've lost 9lb!!!  I have broken a plateau that I have been trying to break with WW for 15 months now.  I am quickly becoming a believer of this program.  No headaches for me...felt a little tired yesterday afternoon (day3), but last night felt my energy soar and I woke up rearing to go this morning.

Gooooo you!  I’m REALLY curious as to how it will be once you start eating two carb meals a day, and even the one carb days.  That is what I’m afraid of!!  Oh I soooo hope this works for you!

…Keeping my fingers and toes crossed!
