Anyone every try Crack the fat loss code by wendy chant?

Hello all, I am currently doing a program called Crack the fat loss code by Wendy Chant, she started a company called Forever Fit in 1998. Just wondering if anyone has tried it? I am on day 3 of week 1 the 7 day carb deplete and man is it kicking my butt! but I have dropped 5 lbs so far! just wanted to see if anyone has tried it or even heard of it! Thanks! Michelle

Never heard of it before, but just looked it up online and it sounds interesting.  I think varying the carb count like that helps spur the metabolism.  I may just get it from the library and give it a more serious look.

I have never heard of it. But 5lbs and you are only one day 3? WOW! What exactly is it?

Well it is an 8 week program (she calls it 8 week boot camp) but she is very adement about saying that this is not a diet but a lifestyle, in the first week, the carb depletion week, this is the only week she refers to as a diet, and you must follow it very closely. Then the next week is called the macro patterning week, in which you teach and essentially "Trick" your body to use stored fat as fuel for energy, instead of glycogen which comes from carbs, you do this by having Carb up days, and Carb down days. Also exercise is a big part of the program. I have made it through day 3, Thank God! after day 3 its supposed to get easier! If you google Wendy Chant or crack the fat loss code you can read about it, seems to be a smart program so far! I will keep you updated! Michelle

Yes keep us updated for sure. Would like to hear how it goes for you and hopefully it continues to work for you. I will have to google it and read about it..8 week boot camp doesn't sound to good haha!!

HI Michelle!  I would love to chat about how the plan is going for you and how you feel about it in more detail.  did you purchase the book?   I saw an issue of first mag. on wednesday with a banner stating lose 16lbs in one week, picked it up and saw the food plan and the article about wendy chant.  it inspired me to pick up the book (which i found at the library) and starting reading.   I began the plan today with the egg/cheeseburger for breakfast.  I am really exicted about finding something that i have high hopes for working and was equally excited to hear you had lost 5 lbs in ony 3 days!  that's awesome!   anyway hope to hear from you..  I googled forever fit wendy chant which is how i found your posting.  i became a member just to reply to you and will check back here for a reply but would like to give you my personal email as well if that is allowed by the site?  it is    [email protected] I live in AZ and am taking a trip to the beach in newport in exactly 2 weeks, so am hoping for dramatic results and the ability to wear something LESS than a sundress! I also signed up just to reply to you Michelle.  I started this plan yesterday after reading about it in First Magazine.  I've lost 4-5 pounds already but  I have NO ENERGY.  You said on Day 3 it was kicking your butt.  Does it get better?  I'm not sure I can make it the whole week at this rate.  I found the book online as a free download here:  http://www.ebook.bogybogy.com/others/81-others/226-crack-the-fat-loss-code.html  so I'm reading about the full program now.  Thanks!

Yes absolutely it does get easier! I think day 4 was when I noticed that I had more energy and did not feel so Drained, (or Hungry) and then by last night I actually started feeling Good! Today has been good as well! keep it up we can encourage each other on the journey!
