Hi everyone out there.......... I'm trying to see if anyone wants to join me and start a private group In our weightloss journey..... have a goal but the end of the summer.....or year while desideing to see if WLS is for us.....
All of this will be private and No need for special meetings offline...or even meet if not wanting too.... but just have a group of ppl.. hopefully later we might be all friends lol ......but to help one another get to our goals and share ideas ot tasks.... and maybe some challenges....We all have our own lives but this would be like a help to others shareing the same things and YOUR not alone in the journey We can set up times to chat online here in the dhat room here or on Msn extra.......... its just a thought...... I'd love to hear some feedback........ anyone interested?
btw we can exchange ideas.....recipes...... even do meal plans for the week.....and fun stuff like that .... Maybe we can even get some small goals happening and lose some weight and talk about issuses to help our journey to
a healthier,happeir and even sexier us...... no matter what age I'm looking to lose 100 lbs.......and a healthier me...... and I the only excerize I do is 1/2 hour at work and after work...... evenings are the hardiest for me...*sigh* hugs ya all

Candy, I think that sounds like a great idea. I'd love to join - however, I know I'm not going to be doing WLS but I do have over 100 lbs to lose so I'm in the same boat as you. I've thought about this before. I think it would be great to have a group of us that follow each other in their journers and then maybe somewhere down the road we could all do something fun together - if we decide to- (girl's cruise anyone?? ) Sign me up!

Hello Candy, this sounds like a great idea...I am thinking of having WLS (matter of fact I have a date) but I am starting to get scared and think of all the effects it will have later in my life, not only to mention I will be self pay and how much money that will be. I would love to join the support group so we can help each other. I have about 70-85 lbs to lose. So sign me up!!!

Hi Ladies . let see how we can do :-) for now I guess we should find a time we can all be online together in the chat room there are 3 of us far I dont think we want much more than 9-10, since it's going to be harder to get all of us in one place I think.... I'm bad for commintment
so I think if you are like me a support group will modivate one another....*smiles*
1) we can come up with a food plan haveing 800 cals be the total in one day ((( that's more than post of after haveing WLS)))
1000, cal on the week ends or if your haveing a tough day it gives 200 cal to play with...
2)exercise is good but not needed for now .but the more you move the better for you
3) Lets take baby steps and commit to 1 week at a time then we weigh in....morning is best...
4) I think a low carb is the best for fast weightloss....NO STARVEING!!!.....it will make you go crazy
5)we can come up with a food plan of differnt lunchs,dinners,snacks ect to choose from and have it posted maybe and have 1 person a day or week plan for the rest if that suits ofcourse...
6) I think when all are involved it makes use feel we are contribiuting not only to ourselves but to others:)
7) we would need to buddy oneanother so we get use to our group......I have no problem giveing out my phone no... or calling....... I have free longdistance in canada and the us...*smiles*
8)this isnt going to be easy.... the frist 2 weeks are the hardest time.....
9)if you need a sounding board I'd be here and hope we all would be here to listen...
10) We are so inspired by what others lose and happy for them with WLS and those shows like the biggest loser.....I think we can do it ourselves too:) *high hopes*

Lets start this and prep for Mon JUNE 30th.....so it gives us all a chance to prepare.....

Candy, I would like to stay with WW as that has been working for me so far. I've already been doing it for over two months and have incorporated exercise into my week. So it sounds like I may not be a candidate?It's probably easier to start out with everyone on the same playing field so just let me know. I think I may have misunderstood the intial email but good luck to everyone!

hi disney:) you can stay with WW and excercise...if anything you might have your own ideas you can share...sorry I might not of said it right on text.... but this is relly for anyone that wants a lil support in the weightloss journey .hey it might be helpful for a few weeks and then ppl go thier own way....But at least on OH there will be tons of ppl if and when we all have questions and so far soo much insperation too. No problem either way and all the best :-o *hugs
