Back to Work
I was on vacation last week and went to Branson for a few days. I rode a lot of the rides at Silver Dollar City and Celebration City. I hadn't been on any rides for a few years. When your 45, they're not as much fun as when your young. The jerking on the rollercoasters and constantly getting out of those low seats. It sure does open your eyes what a difference being overweight makes. All that walking and hills proves I'm not in the shape I could be. I did get in the swimming pool at the hotel. I wore shorts over my suit and no one was in it at the time either.
Overall I really did enjoy myself though. Got a bit of a tan. I'm still considering joining WW. I think I need to stop considering it and just do it.
Also, for those of you that use equal sweetener, their is one called Natra Taste that has the same sweetener as equal for less money.

Gawd, i am such a baby on rides, beleive that or not! Here I will ride on a highway next to cars on my bike, but those things, nuh-uh.
Did your DH get a job yet? When daddy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!!!!!
I laughed at your age observation. Hey honey, everything hurts at this age for many of us fat or not fat - I am in "pretty good" shape and yet, my poor ole body is about achy as achy can be! I can't blame it all on fat-ness!
Course, even being as fat as I am - like 20-30# to go - it is shocking pulling my fat@ss out of the public pool in the deep end on the ladder. Just don't recall that being that hard! LOLOL
It's funny you say, when daddy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy! He actually has been a bit of a crab lately. He did just get a job, but it's not the one we want. He took it for now. He still has an excellent chance for the job we're really wanting. Hopefully, that will be soon. That way mama will be happy too! Stress can make me a ***** on wheels too.
I must say, my stepson had a blast! He probably deserved it putting up with both of us!

Sounds like you had a good time! Dontcha HATE to go back to work after a nice break!?
I was the same way on the rides at Disney... none of it was as fun as it would have been when I was in my teens/twenties. I am hoping to get WAY down by the next trip and REALLY have fun though :) I want to try a few wilder ones and see if maybe I was just not comfortable in the tight cars and such ;)
Glad you had a good time!
I'm looking forward to a Disney trip in September. Hopefully, this time I won't have that nagging fear that I won't fit in the rides. Last time, it was a stretch making it into some of them and there were a couple I wouldn't even try. It's really kind of sad because I love theme parks of all kinds and I shouldn't have to worry about fitting into a ride. Good for you getting in the pool! and Good luck on joining WW or whatever plan you choose to follow!
