UPDATE- And a warning!!!!

Holy Crap, Batman! Stacy from SBAAWLS had a very similar story - hers with no gall bladder surgery, but rather years of mystifying pain and suffering until they figured it out. I'd have to look again but as I recall, her bowel did die. With all the stuff docs know - the gut area is still a mystery.  I cannot beleive how risky this has been for you overall! I hope you feel like a human very soon.

It actually wasn't caused by EITHER surgery-- it was caused by having a big ol' empty abdomen where my intestines could wiggle too much. It just coincidentally happened three days after my gallbladder surgery-- which is why we wasted days wondering what the hell it was!

I get that it is technically from losing a lot of weight from reading your posts! I was trying to say that many things you do lately has ended up with, short of buying the farm, with the about the worst possible outcome. Geesh! Luck? Lack of? I'm glad you're here to tell about it, my friend! So happens that a boss I have just got done with hers intestine doing the twist also (she did have wls RnY 2 years ago and is down like 150#)  She is still kind of sickly looking to me, so i think the jury is still out on what is going on now.

Thank God they finally figured it out woman and you didn't lose any intestines.  I hope you are feeling better very soon and the pain fades quickly. Take it easy. Melinda 

I just want to cry for you..Oh my!!! Its a shame that they didnt find this sooner to give you some relief that is crazy!!! They shouldn't have done a lot of things but you can't change that. Glad that you are doing better and that you are still with us. I hope that you never have to go through the pain again and glad that you didnt kill anyone :) Gosh i am so sorry to hear all of this I really can't imagine how painful all of that was. I will keep you in my thoughts and I hope the pain starts going away!!
