Yes, Beth....mine do that too. If you clench and unclench your fingers while you walk it helps. I think it's just cause they're hanging dependent. If you power walk and really swing your arms it helps too. Nothing to be concerned about, I don't think.
Honestly, it depends. When I am on my stationary bike, I keep a bottle of water next to me. If I walking my measily mile (15-20 min), I drink when I get back. Saturday, we went for a hike. I was only going to go on the 15 min trail so I didn't take anything. Well, I ended up walking 3hrs and so was TOTALLY unprepared. STOOOOPID!!!!!!!! cuz I was sweating so bad. By the time I got back, my mouth was sticking to itself and my girls had gone ahead on the trail with the liquids they had so...nothing for mom. Won't do that one again. I will take water with me just in case.
I don't swell anything like I used to but I hate doing it at all cuz it jsut makes things yucky and uncomfortable. I have thought about asking my doc for a ligh****er pill since the swelling isn't bad but enough to be annoying. I don't know what he'll say but I'll ask anyway.
