Little WOW moment...

I was at my niece's little league game tonight. For whatever reason, I wrapped my thumb and forefinger around my wrist. The tips touch! Last week they didn't. I've been noticing my wrist getting smaller but never realized how much. I was amazed and like, "Wow! Look, Becky." She was like, "So." She totally missed them importance of what I discovered. That's ok, tho. I know it's a big deal to me. Maybe silly but still a big deal.

You've been getting all kinds of wow moments lately, I'm jealous. :)  It's amazing how we notice little things like this but no one does.  I remember last time I lost a bunch of weight, I was driving to work.  I remember I was at an intersection and my arms were actually in front of my body instead of on the sides of my body.  My stomach was always in the way to where my arms could never be in front of me comfortably.  It felt very strange, and exciting at the same time.  I think that was one of my most wow moments.

Gotta love WOW moments. They give you momentum and encouragement to keep going. There are probably a million things that are WOW worthy but I miss. So glad I notice the ones I do.  I have been stalling quite a bit lately and it really is disheartening so these WOWs become even more important to me to keep me positive so keep 'em coming!

I was going to ask you, are you any where near Toluca?  My in laws live there, so I'm sure we'll be going there some time or another. 

yahoo maps says it is about 3 hours difference. It's not so far we couldn't make it work. We could even meet half way or something. Just sayin... Lincoln, IL is about halfway and straight shot down the hwy from Toluca. Lots of restaurants and stores there last I knew. Of course, there is a danger zone there, too and it's right off the hwy...a Russell Stover's Store!!! Arghhhhh!!! lol

I LIVE for these moments!!  :)   You just keep doin' the do and new and even more interesting "wow" moments will become part of your everyday! God Bless ya, girlie!! Lori

Beth, I think that wrapping your fingers around your wrist and them touching is MONUMENTAL to those of us that couldn't do that for so long.  I am so happy for you.  And it isn't silly at all.  It is the little rewards like this that keep pushing us towards the ultimate goal!!!  Great job!!
