Finally!!!

I hit a huge milestone for me this morning.  I have been bouncing back in forth with the same 5-7 pounds for 2 months.  Get it off, put it on, get it off, put it on.  It has been frustrating.  Well, today I finally hit 190.6.  No more pushing 200.  I did it and I will not play with those 7 pounds anymore.  I am so close to my goal weight.  I can't believe it.  I am shooting for 180 because I have a very large frame.  The doctor told me once he had never sen bones that big on a woman before.  Thanks.  So I think that 180 is realistic.  But I would love to be at least at the high end of my recommended weight of 165.  I don't know though.  We will see how it looks and feels around 180.  Of course I probably have 45 pounds of belly sag, but so it goes.  I NEVER EVER EVER NEVER want to see 200 pounds again.   You know what the best part is??  Maybe TMI.  My husband fell in love with me when I was 300 pounds.  And he never once waivered in his love or desire for me.  And I know that losing this weight and feeling better about myself has enhanced our relationship so much.  I am not embarrased to have the lights on.  I am ok going to bed naked now if he asks.  I told you TMI. Today will be a good day!!  I can tell.  I am so stoked about my new mini goal that I will be on cloud nine all DAY!!

Excellent!!!  Congratulations!!  I love when I finally do that-move far enough away from a weight that I just *know* I won't ever go back there again!!!

Leah, I totally know what you mean about the lights. The more I lose, the more I want my husband the comfort he provides. I have even bought sexier underwear and flimsy nighties "for him". I would have never done that before. I know I am still fat (SMO) BUT he makes me feel so good about his love for me thick or thin that it just brings me to a whole other comfort level. Congratulations on your success!  You can take from every experience what it has to offer you. And you cannot be defeated if you just keep taking one breath followed by another. (O.W.)

Good for you, Leah....congratulations! I'm confused reading your profile.  It says Post-Op and Waiting for Revision Surgery.  Did you have the surgery?

Good for you!  I know those little milestones are literally a pain in the butt!  Glad to see you finally OWNED one! :)  I hear ya about the self body image.  My dh doesn't care either, but it does play mind games on US.  I can't wait to be comfortable wearing my leather and other goodies once again and actually be COMFORTABLE doing it!
