The downfalls of weight loss
yeah, I do not have too bad of sag factor, but i did have children and will NEVER forget taking a look in the mirror for the first time after the kid. O.m.g. boobs all red and streaky, stoach exactly like a deflated balloon with stab wounds all over it. I seriously cried, then went into traumatization.
But at some point, I realized that my health matters over all. I'd rather have the saggy skin and be in good health than be too fat. I read about MO folks on these boards who lost the fat body and then hating their saggy body is the next frontier.
These days, there are options with ps...tho expensive, but where there is a will there a way to find the moola.
PS: wait til you're old....weird to see MY feet with spider veins all over them and my arms getting crepey.
Yea I'll take the flabbiness any day over being over weight. I remember after losing a bunch of weight once before my legs looked awful, so I know that will be my worst area. I could literally stretch my skin out a good foot, it was disgusting. My arms were like how my daughter put it....."flying squirrels".lol She use to make fun of my arms all the time. My stomach on the other hand was actually not bad at all. Even though it is nice and round now, I can some how lose it quite well with exercise with minimal sagging skin.
It is sort of sad after you work so hard to get skinny and beautiful that you then have to figure out how to work at your "next problem". I think a lot of people don't even realize how bad it will be until it actually happens to them. BUT the benefits of losing weight is no comparison. This time around I'm sure I'll put my head high and proud showing off that extra baggage of skin that I'll be carrying around.
I'm looking forward to it once again, with open flabby flying squirrel arms! :)
