I am not a doctor nor claim to be one.  Check with your medical professional before attempting any diet. You can't go wrong with the Atkins Induction phase.  The minute you eat a donut, it is all over but if you want to lose 10+++ pounds in 2 weeks - IT absolutely works.  You won't be hungry and your blood sugar will be in control.

Get a copy of the Atkins book and follow it to a tee.  They probably have the diet online too.

Best, Leila

I've had good results so far with Medifast. I felt pretty tired the 1st 2 weeks, but now am doing great. Not just drinks, plus one real meal a day. I learned about it from a co-worker who is diabetic (I'm not). She has lost 120 lbs - down in the 290's from 420.

My husband had WLS March 24th, and I have been following his diet for about 4-5 weeks.  Since his surgery I'm down 28 lbs as of today.  I would recommend trying that.  Which is pretty much what everyone else said.  High protein, low carb, low sugar, low fat.  Not NO carb, sugar, fat, but LOW.  I think the most helpful thing for me has been protein bars.  1 for breakfast, 1 for lunch, high protein dinner.  For snacks, I usually have LF cottage cheese with fruit or rice cakes, with maybe some pB spread on them.  If you start now, you may actually come pretty close to your goal.  Good luck!     Jennifer
