I lost the 50 lbs he first time in about 4 months. Of course, I lost 20 the first week because I quit drinking pop. I did the flex plan. It seemed hard to just eat the foods on the core plan. I think that WW is an amazing tool. As long as you follow the program, it really works. The best thing about it, you have a choice, if you have 30 points today and you want to eat that quarter pounder and use up 18 of them, then you don't those points that you could have eaten several strawberries, or yogurt or a subway sandwich for 7 points. And you have to work out. I have an aunt that is pushing 400 lbs. And my motivation to her was, get on your eliptical at least once a day for 1 minute to start. Then next week 2 minutes every day. Take baby steps into it and you can be successful. No that you will slip up and eat crap you shouldn't. Like I did yesterday. I had Taco Bueno then took the kids to Sizzler. BAD BAD day for me. But I don't beat myself up about it. I went hoe, worked out, and I know that today is a new day and you have to give in once in a while. My normal day of eating now is this:
B- light yoplait thick yogurt and maybe some fruits
L-turkey sandwich with fat free cheese(I love cheese it is one of my downfalls) on nature's own fiber wheat
Snack- sugar free pudding
D- usually consists of a big meal. We will have a meat of some sort, usually white meat, I eat 3 oz. A veggie, and brown rice. Or we eat casseroles.
Tonight we will have white chili. Not that great for you, but if eaten in moderation it is ok.
That is our biggest problem. We eat more than we should. It really isn't a matter of what we put in our mouths, it is how much and how often. Eating a candy bar isn't bad for you, if you eat just one once in a while. But I was known to eat 2 or 3 snickers a day. And have several helpings of fried foods and lots of potatoes. That is what our downfall is. So go ahead, eat something bad for you, a little, and not every day. Otherwise, you deprive yourself and you fail miserable. Start beating yourself up and say SCREW IT!!!
On Sunday I ate a snickers, I also had lots of potatoes, but because I work out and eat right almost everyday, I still lost 3 pounds last week.
I KNOW THAT WE ALL CAN DO THIS. ARE YOU READY TO MAKE THAT CHANGE? ARE YOU TIRED OF LOOKING IN THE MIRROR AND HATING WHAT YOU SEE?? ARE YOU TIRED OF LOOKING AT SKINNY PEOPLE WITH ENVY?? DO YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO ALL THE THINGS YOU CAN'T NOW??
THEN WE CAN DO IT!!!! PUT YOUR HEART IN IT. GET HELP FROM YOUR FAMILY. CLEAN OUT THE CUPBOARDS AND GET RID OF ALL THE CRAP YOU SHOULDN'T PUT IN YOUR MOUTH!! START FRESH!!! I AM HERE TO HELP GET YOU MOTIVATED!!! I WANT TO KNOW THAT WE ARE ALL AROUND FOR OUR GRANDBABIES BIRTHS, OUR CHILDREN'S WEDDINGS, TO GrOW OLD WITH OUR SPOUSES AND KNOW THAT WE WERE STRONG ENOUGH TO DO THIS ON OUR OWN!!!
