i'm faily new to the board myself. But talking about my weight , issues ,eating etc really does help. I find sharing my feelings helps me realize I'm not the only one battling with a weight issue. And writing down what I eat and if I exercise help me stay focused and accountable from what I'm doing with my life. Everyone here is sooooooooo helpful. We're here to listen.
John, Amazingly enough, talking about weight and weight loss with people facing the same obstacles as you can be strangely encouraging and uplifting. Also, we all have different angles on this and different diet plans. Because of this, we give each other many options to try. None of us are the same yet we are all a like. Knowing that what works for one doesn't work for the next yet knowing we can all relate emotionally and psychologically is a strength in itself.
