anybody doing anything fun over the 3 days?

DH and I are negotiating whether to stay all night up in the mountains.  I say yes, him no - there are thunderstorms in the forecast, so if we go and have to dodge lightening bolts, i am a dead woman.  Sigh...wanted to do my Saturday walk in the mountains...we'll see.  Either way, we will go up for a Mushroom Fest tomorrow and perhaps still hike a bit.

Past that, gardening to do around here and i want to get on my bike and play with GS's.  how about y'all?

well my kids have talked me into going to schiterbahn this weekend. The thought of me in a bathing suit....not sitting well in my mind. But at least i'll be spending some over due quality time with the kiddos!

Saturday going to my Mom's house for BBQ.  Sunday going to the park for more BBQ and a washer tournament and Monday is my sons B-day.  Too much food in this scenario.  It's supposed to be beautiful weather though.  I love the weather this time of year, if it would stop raining. Celebrating my daughter's birthday tonight and then have the grandkids overnight and tomorrow...going to a railway museum they love.  Sunday having friends over for a barbeque and Monday working in the yard and soaking up some sun.  Weather is gonna be GLORIOUS for a change!!   Have fun all!

I'm going to my daughter's high school graduation tonight and she wants to go strawberry picking this weekend. Then Sunday, hubby and I are going to visit one his of his co-workers that had a double knee replacement like 2 weeks ago. We're riding the motorcycle (ABOUT A 45 MIN TRIP) down. Should be a  fun and relaxing day. Outside of that, I think I want to fit in a picnic and some hiking but we'll see. EDIT: Forgot I have a party  to go to on Saturday. Beth

Sounds like everyone is doing alittle something!! Important thing..be safe!! Tonight we have a graduation to go too.. Saturday night..going to a friends house...their son is graduating tonight and we are doing a cookout and stuff tomorrow night.. Sunday..probably a BBQ at my moms.. And Monday will probably be relaxing and getting ready to go back to work.  Me and the two kiddos fly out a week from tomorrow..to go to California for 5 days. So it'd be nice to get some time with the husband too!! Everyone have a good and safe weekend!! Happy Memorial Day!!

Family coming over to Joyce's for Memorial Day.  Unfortunately, there will be no parade...  Cooking ribs, chicken, burgers, dogs..... salads.. yanno.. the usual bbq stuff. It's probably not going to be too much fun.. lol.. Today I did Joyce's carpet in her room.. BY HAND, mowed the lawn and did laundry and normal cleaning so hopefully I'll be up for the challenge on Monday.
