Is my scale broken??!?
This is pathetic, I'm actually sort of chuckling to my self for even thinking this. But I wonder if my scale is broken. LOL I can never get below 290. I hit 290 and then boom it goes back up one or two pounds for no reason. LOL this is driving me nuts. Right when I think I'm going to see the 280's on the scale the next morning the scale desides to take a detour and goes up a few pounds!! UGHH! What's up with that??
This is seriously driving me insane. Who would think getting below 290 would be so hard? I can get from 305 to 300, I can even get from 295 to 290, but that's where it stops! ARGHHHHH
So while I'm trying so hard, that is going to be my excuse, my scale has GOT to be broken. hehe I'm seriously thinking of putting that damn thing away for a while before I end up throwing it through my window.
It can be that your body has a "set point" and you just need to be persistent.
It can be that you're undereating (are you eating to your BMR at least) and your body is preserving your bodyfat.
Just remember, weight loss isn't linear.
But if you're stalled, truly, check out your BMR and of course go low carb ; )

I think your SCALE has a set point!!! I've got one that won't go below 260. Anybody got one that likes 200? Maybe we can all just play musical scales and forget this whole healthy eating crap!!
My thought for the day!
my home scale acts like that! I dunno. It could be our bodies...fer shur. remember a long time ago when we talked about how large percentage water our bodies are.
so....one pound of fluid weighs ~8 pounds, therfore to flux up/down 2-4# is not that whacked out.
I got to hear Morgan Spurlock in person tell about his Supersize Me movie at a convention, and he told us that his body after gaining that quickly as he did in that movie, his body will now do that that same thing - after a bad weekend, fluctuate up 5#.
That made me stop and think it is normal for some of us!
