Jeans

Something happened with jeans in the last 5 years or so that I hadn't realized. I guess all of my jeans are now made of the "stretchy" type jean material that gives a little....you know, like when you SIT DOWN! I put on a pair of jeans this morning that I haven't worn in probably 4 years (no, unfortunately NOT because they are a smaller size, I just hadn't worn them) and OH MY GOD.  I sat down just to put my socks/shoes on and I thought.....'something is wrong with these....they don't move'.....as I gasped for breath  LOL  Well I figured I could deal with it as I would just not cross my legs at work.....(o.k. o.k. they looked cute with my outfit and I didn't want to put the effort in to pick something new).... Now I am kicking myself....sitting at work breathing shallowly  LOL   It isn't that bad, but damn..... I say PRAISE STRETCHY JEANS!

The greatest invention of All Time! The stretch jean.  Even when i was a teen at ~140-150#, jeans were not comfy for my body - ever. I don't think they looked good either, my butt was flat or the cut was not right for my waist.  I laughed when you said crossing your legs - mine would cut off circulation at my knees!

I say PRAISE DANSKINS!  LOL  When I was a teen....  I'd take put the size 4's on my size 6 butt and lay down flat.. suck it in and even use a plyers to pull up the zipper!    OMG ... man the crap we put ourselves through...lol ......never again

LOL thanks for the chuckle.  Yea, I'm actually trying to stay away from any elastic pants now in less they are my bumm pants for home.  It's so easy to gain weight without realizing it!  LOL, we tend to like to breathe so we keep the weight off a few pounds in order to not have to buy a new pair of pants!
