I tracked down this article I read in Glamour mag recently February 08 about Jennifer Love Hewitt who was recently called fat by the tabloids...ummm she's a size 2. The article goes on to compare Hewitt's size 2 body (and she has typical size 2 measurements)  to the average woman: Hewitt, size 2: height:  62" waist: 25" hips: 35" Average woman, size 14: height:  64" waist: 37" hips:  44"

I love her response to all the criticism...

"This is the last time I will address this subject.

"I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized.

"To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image.

"A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful."

"I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. "And like all women out there should, I love my body. "To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong."

Being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful... she's RIGHT! She is gorgeous and curvy- she looks like a woman. Personally, I'd much rather be shaped like a woman than look like one of those Hollywood sticks.

People are always saying to me "Don't lose anymore weight" Seriously, I don't think they believe me/understand it when I say I don't want to either.  I am happy right where I am.  I would look terrible any thinner- even if according to BMI I could still lose another 15lbs and be in the normal range!" Hello? me another 15lbs thinner...? I don't actually aspire to looking anorexic.  Sadly, I think alot of girl aspire to be LESS than healthy BMI.

Anyway, that's my soapbox for today!

Style presumes that you are a person of interest, that the world is a place of interest, that life is worth making the effort for.
Don't be afraid that your life will end,
be afraid that it will never begin.

Know how to prevent sagging?
Just eat till the wrinkles fill out.
