LOTS going on here!
Life is NOT so bad today (it might be tomorrow though LOL) Here's what's up in my life!
Oldest dd has actually FILED for her divorce & it should be final on May 27. AND, she found a GREAT apartment to rent! She can actually move in TOMORROW! It is $900 per month but is the bottom floor of a 2 story duplex. (the top is not completed yet so is empty!) FOUR bedrooms which is really HARD to find here! Each kiddo will have their OWN room. For a $300 deposit she is able to keep her small dog and cat.... GREAT for the kids as loosing them would have been tough with all the other changes in their lives.
Middle dd is doing well in her pregnancy! She seems 100% committed to be/do the BEST for her child. HUGE changes going on there!
We helped youngest dd celebrate her 7th birthday last Saturday. We have gotten in touch with her birth mom again... THAT is just plain AWESOME!! We adopted dd at birth (I got to cut her cord even!) and though we live MANY miles a part... "D" and I have a pretty tight bond. I had been really worried about her as we'd not heard anything from her in a year. It's good to be in touch again.

I think.... I think I bought myself a new car!!! Well, I didn't sign the dotted line YET- but they are "gold streaking" the paper work to me TODAY and will sign & get them back to them hopefully by tomorrow! Once they get that (with my check!)... I will be the proud new owner of a little blue Honda CRV-EX-L.
I have NEVER EVER purchased my own car! In fact, this is only the second car I've ever had- the first one is still in my driveway! But dh had me choose it back then- and HE did all the whealen & dealin :) This time, he has not done ONE THING. I hope I'm not getting screwed! I was able to get him down to $539 over the invoice and 5.24% interest though, so I think that's okay? And it's just in Juneau so it can be in my driveway by NEXT WEEK :) :)
So the WL thing, that aint goin so well :( But I AM doing BETTER. Just not quite good enuf! I am not eating OVERBOARD, not eating the sweets I was before etc. But I'm not drinking my water as I should and I'm falling away from tracking again :( I have to get back into it BIG TIME! Dh will leave tomorrow, for a week or so and I'll be really busy through the weekend (likely helping dd move) so I think it'll be easier to get back on track.

You brat! That's nice, I'm so happy for you! One of these days I'm gonna catch up to you.hehe Sounds like lots of things been going in your house as well! I'm so glad to hear that your daughter is dealing with the pregnancy well and doing well herself! I really think a pregnancy is sometimes what it takes to mellow out someone. Not saying it's the smartest choice! But I think it works sometimes. God must know what to do on some of these kids!
Your oldest, I sooo can feel for her. I remember going through all of that, your heart feels broken, but at the same time freed. I'm glad she's getting herself together for her and the kids! Wow and a four bedroom for nine hundred bucks! That's not bad at all!! Heck, can I move upstairs! ha
You and me girlie, we're gonna win this!! Keep your little hands out of the cookie jar or out of the kids snacks during the day or whatever your problem is!! Stick with your points, it works wonders for you. And drink your water!! I'm scarfing down mine as I type this.. I LOVE this WW cup. The one that holds the 32 ounces of water. It must be the big straw, because I can suck down the whole thing within minutes!! My husband keeps trying to take it away from me and I keep hitting him tell him "mitts off, it's mine"! I swear I can never have anything in this house as mine only. Even my eight year old begs and pleads with me to let her play with my i touch. Arghhh Then today my son wanted my cell phone! Ummm, NO! lol
Hang in there and prep or whatever you do to make it happen!
