What did you eat today? 4/23

Hi There

Almost dinner time here. My sum for the day:

B" slim milk with oatmeal, raisins and cinnamon

s: apple

L: pasta salad (leftover pasta, with chicken, pickle, tomateoes, onion and low fat dressing)

s: fresh fruits cut up

d: potatoes, cauliflower with low fat cheese sauce, 2 pieces of red meat (tartar very lean on ww as much as you like for 3 pts)

s: fruit yohurt and probably a WW bar

VERY good day!

Exercise: about 40 minutes of walking with bthe stroller.

Tomorrow is a challenge: DH's birthday. he is off work so I can at least go to the gym. I'll also make a lean cake myself which is 2 points a piece (with fruit yoghurt)
But people are staying for dinner and we usually go out to get french fries and snacks. I'll have to figure something nice out for myself without feeling miserable... TBC

So far: B: sausage biscuit from Hardee's L: 6pcs bacon D: 1/2c vanilla yogurt w/sweetened strawberries, 1/2c lf cottage cheese S:chicken wrap minus the tortilla from Dairy Queen (chicken strip, shredded cheese, lettuce leaf, ranch dressing), 10 bites tin roof brownie blizzard Exercise: Went fishing and had to walk up and down a hill about a town block long twice, walked with my daughter about 10 blocks (20-25 minutes. It was a sloooowww walk with the dogs and visiting along the way), physical therapy exercises x2

1/2 c romaine w/1 slice of ham and 1 slice of provolone 1/2 ham and cheese omelet w/2 sausage links and a small portion of broccoli 2 oz of that cream cheese/cheese cake pudding thingie I might have 3 meatballs later.. I dunno.. depends....  I may have a shot of stoli's instead So far looks like i'm back on the gain... oh well.. c'est la vie

years from now, lori, you will not think of this time that you put back on weight...you will recall being with your sisters and having a blast! You are doing fine. Your food was not over the top!

Yea.. in between the tears there's been an awful lot of laughter!  Even the doctor laughed his ass off when we all put on our sunglasses when they brought her out of radiation.  We told her she was glowing green. Neecee.... she said in the car on the way to radiation yesterday "Yanno, I realize I might not get through this, but this has been the happiest month of my life having all of my sisters around me".   Still though.. if I don't keep myself under control, I won't have the physical ability to take care of her when it REALLY comes down to it... right now this is the easy stuff.. cooking, cleaning, bathing and dressing and getting back and forth to docs and giving meds and stuff....   We're a bunch of crazy fools... even visitors can't believe how much she's actually laughing until tears are rolling down her face.. lol...    guess some things never change... Today I ate a half a cream puff.. and a bite of potato salad...  I won't have a chance to have a meal until later on and it's getting tough to hold out for the eggs and stuff....  It's cool.....

It's a beautiful thing you are doing for your sister.  It's great that you can put laughter in her life with everything else going on.  It will be something none of you will ever forget.  God bless all of you.   Brenda

went out for lunch today. Again I'm not totally sure about my exact number. 1300-1400 cals for the day. My sleeping schedule is all messed up so I napped through dinner. Yesterday was an extremely hard day emotionally thus I took it out on my eating. I'm really sad that I went so overboard yesterday, but I'm just moving on the best I can today. I'm also still hanging on to about 3 pounds of ww. Maybe it will fall off by Fri or Sat... I don't know why ww is so slow to fall off of me each month. Oh well...

Hi Catje!  Now your out to supper with friends thing is only one area that you will need to develop a different approach - don't get all punky about it...realize it is NOT about the food - it was never about that. It's about being with friends! All parties are in that same catagory. Have a few fries,,,and split a sandwich take half home for later! Not a weight loss day, but not a binge either. My day: kale/protein drink hi pro cappacino drink Lunch:  togos asian chicken salad with cabbage/spinach/chicken/few wontons, no bread/diet pepsi 1/2 protein bar 1 hour swimming class (kids had a swim a thon, so had to cut it short)  I also did 15 minutes ball crunches + asanas in the morning before work Supper: 1 c chicken chili + 2 small tamales + green onions/jalapeno/salsa over all + 1/2 svg whole grain chips + 2 small brownies EDIT:  I just realized I never had fruit either today! as I said I wanted to!
