OK... I thought I'd tell you all.  I know lots of you will probably want to give me virtual spanking for even doing this but I weighed myself ths morning. I have worked VERY hard to take off an additonal 5kg (11lbs) prior to surgery as a buffer and FULLY expected to gain it right back from surgery.

Curiosity got the better of me....

Morning of surgery I weighed 57.5kg (126.5lbs)

They took off 2.2kg (4.8lbs) of skin in the LBL.

Today I weighed in at 54.8kg (120.8lbs) HOLY COW! I AM THIN!!!!! and still swollen from surgery.  My hubby is like... I told you that you were thin. THIN I have never felt thin EVER.  God this weight loss journey has been a long hard road but it's days like today where I finally give myself permission to feel so proud of myself.

Did the op go well? I hope you are recovering soon.
I am trying again, for the last time now before rsorting to WLS. But you are a big example to me

I think you have ARRIVED! And it shows to go ya that our perception of ourselves is a major thing! Stay proud...your body has cooperated with all your work.  Take good care of it in return!  Now another road:  maintenance - NOT for the faint of heart, either. YOU will do it.  i am so inspired by you and proud, my sister!

You ARE thin you skinny mini!

Sure is nice to hear a word like THIN huh? :) You have done great and it was very hard work we know..nobody ever told me life was easy..but you were thin before surgery sounds like to me!! at 126 lbs!! A lot of us is dying to get there or to at least see 100's. You are beautiful and enjoy hearing the compliments!!
