I'm home from hospital
Thankyou. A few days ago when I saw my flat skin I literally started crying, I started to fully realise how far I have come. Thanks for saying I look younger. I FEEL younger that's for sure. I'll let you know when I post some before and after surgey images on my profile.
Yes, portion control... exercise... walking/ exercise bike- slowly increased the time as I became fitter- originally all I could manage was 10 minutes walk... never joined a gym, never had a trainer. Just became slowly more conscious of wanting to eat quality healthy and life giving foods. I choose to eat treat foods only when they were really good quality ones- eg lush smooth Lindt chocolate rather than discount grainy overly sweet chocolate, homemade cake if visiting a friend rather than some 'average' supermarket cake full of colours and preservatives.
I have always said it is a journey... and you know what I realised in hospital? It is a gradual uphill journey, and sometimes that slope is steeper than other times. The plastics are like the snowy iced peak where you literally claw your way up using picks and ropes towards the summit. But the further you go up that hill the stronger you become- and better able to continue you become.
How's your journey going?
