Turning it around
I made a reply to Holly's post about my husband losing his job. I mentioned how difficult it is for me to watch what I eat when I am so stressed out. I thought about it and I thought to myself, so many other people do the opposite when they're stressed. They don't eat as much so why do I feel the need to eat. Since that day I have been focusing my mind on trying to think that my appetite should be less. For whatever reason this time it's really helping me. Weekends are always the hardest and I actually have done well since my reply.
I just hope it lasts.

Brenda... I'm like that too. When I'm stressed, I used to reach for comfort food..... one thing right aftr the other...
I find that praying my way through these times really helps tremendously. Our Father knows our weaknesses... and when I feel I'm not strong, I let Him become strong in me.
This may sound lame to some, but He is always faithful..
