Questions kids ask... geesh!

Cross post from Plastics Board.

Who ever thought to get the answers to these questions during their plastics consult?... certainly not me.

My LBL is estimated to take 10 hours and is tomorrow- so tonight as I kiss them goodnight they each came up with these pearls....

SON: Mum, do they get a lunch break? or is like a relay team? What about the Dr? does he get a lunch break too? He must get a drink at least?

DAUGHTER: Mum, what if the Dr or nurses need to go to the toilet? Do you just lie there and wait? Don't they get tired?

OTHER DAUGHTER: Mum, what if there's a fire? What will happen to you? You won't hear the alarm and you could be all open and stuff... (Em thinks -gee thanks alot, nice image kid...)

Geesh! Great questions to ask me NOW... now that it's too late to find out the answers for them.

My reply to all their questions: "I don't know and I don't care, that's their problem!"

That's too funny.  Kids are so cool like that.  When I had my lap band, my god daughter asked me "What happens if they forget a tool inside you?"  Cracked me up.

Kids have such a wonderful imagination -- us adults let the stresses of day to day life get in the way and I think it stunts our imagination to some degree....  too cute -- and I was sitting here thinking-- yeah I wonder what would happen if there was a fire?  LOL

LOL Em, those questions are hilarious!!! You are probably in your LBL now? It's 6:00 America time.  OMG you could be there now ~drops to my knees and says some prayers for Em, struggles back up groaning at bad knees~  See what I do for you, Em?
