OT: Microdermabrasion

Have any of you had it or know anyone who has?  If so, did you/they like it?  I'm looking into doing it for my birthday/before the wedding but I am wondering if it will be worth the money. Thanks!

Hi! my daughter had it done she said made her face feel great and look better, but it will be red for a bit and a lil swollen, hers was but goes away, she said, I use one of those hand held things by nutrugena, and i really like it, Just make sure its someone that has done a lot of them and know what there doing, if you can, Good luck!  Delilah

I do Mary Kay style - just a face scrub and a follow up rejuvenator.   That rings my bell. Never had a full face blast from a dermatologist.

Ooh -- that looks promising!  I bought some stuff last night in the store to try BEFORE I shelled out the mula for the full thing.  I also read that the real deal can make your face red and even ooze clear/yellow fluid -- EWWWW   I have adult-onset acne and it is MUCH better now than it has been in the past, but I would like to try something to clear it up completely and hide some of the blotchiness I have as a result of it.  I may take back the stuff I bought last night and try this -- it sounds promising!
