My sister has brain cancer.  She doesn't know it yet.  She's going to find out soon though because the doctor said they'll use radiation to try to keep her alive a little longer.  They can't say how long she's got.  Please pray for her peace, comfort, faith and strength.  Her name is Joyce. I don't know what else to ask for. Thank you

Aww Lori, (((HUGS))).

I'm so sorry to hear this.  Going through cancer isn't fun for any part of the family.  My dad had cancer two years ago, and all I can say is love her and talk to her as MUCH as you can, and let her know how much she's loved.

Joyce is such a pretty name, it's my mama's name too. :)   My prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers.   Holly: Joyce and Carol are twins.  They were born in the wee hours of the morning on Jan 1 so my mother named them for Christmas Carol and Joy to the World.  They were the first girl twins born nationwide that year.

I really feel for you.  My husband's sister developed a brain tumor at the age of 26.  This was extremely rare for someone to develop a tumor of this type at this age.  Radiation sometimes works really well for shrinking or disolving them.  Find the best doctors you can because some will operate to try and remove while others will not. I will definitely say a prayer for her.  Brenda
