It's VERY hard to eat well when traveling, believe me I know. I've been traveling every other week since January. It's very easy to convince yourself you aren't doing so badly until you really become accountable and see all those calories. My SO wants to go to Outback tonight so I went on the website to see if I could formulate something to eat. I'm sure we all suspect it but were you completely aware that most food they cook is rolled/marinated/soaked in some kind of butter or oil before it's even cooked? I read that the Aussie fries w/cheddar, bacon and that ranch dip is a whopping 2,900 calories and 182 grams of fat. That's a freakin' APPETIZER!!!! Be careful of taking that lack of gain for granted though. Sometimes it takes our bodies a little longer to adjust and suddenly that scale shows a real gain. It's the same as losing, it's almost like it all comes off at once. Sounds like you are conscious of what is going on in your life with food now, so I'm happy that you came back unscathed and none the worse for wear!!!!
