Did you move to lose today? 3/28

I rode 10 miles on my stationary bike today. 3 sessions of 4, 2, and 4 miles. My bike has the arm action, too. It really wears my arms out so I aim for one mile using the arms. Hopefully I can increase that in the next couple of weeks. When I can do 10 miles all at once, maybe I'll consider a "real" bike ride in the great outdoors. Do you have an exercise goal?

It sounds like you are doing great.  There is nothing wrong with making short-term goals and then working up from there.  Don't forget to celebrate each accomplishment! I am taking baby steps....My first goal is to do it on a regular basis! I went to the gym for my assessment today.  Then I spent some time on the bike, treadmill, elliptical machine, and one other machine.  The boys went with me. I would have stayed longer, but they were HUNGRY again!  I guess we were there just shy of 2 hours.  I had them on the exercise equipment beside me today.  It was pretty cool. I got another appointment Monday morning.  I want to go at least three times a week.  But 5-6 times a week would be better for me.  I want to see the circuit training area and whatever else I can learn about.  The hours we went there, we have most of the huge gym to ourselves.  I like the off-peak hours.

Wow, that is great beth! I try to do some activity daily if possible but I am still slow but steady at this point. It feels great to move around more as the pounds slip away. I am still too heavy for home exercise equipment. I like to walk when able and do stretching, too. Keep up the good work on your goals.

Beth- 'real' riding is SOOOO fun, the wind whistles through your hair and on your face. Plus the scenery changes! Good luck with that goal!

My day:

1 1/2 hrs of karate class  Karate

1 1/2 hrs on the exercise bike  Stationary Bike

My current goal is to build muscles with weight/ resistance tube workouts 3 times a week...  Squats

but let me confess: I am a bit of a slacker with weight training.  Shy Whistler
