SBeachers, and low carbers.
Okay, I was up two pounds from yesterday. I know..no big deal yet. But I weigh myself daily so I'm pretty sure it was something that I ate yesterday. I was busy all day long, running errands, interview, etc. I did find a piece of quiche at an organic store. They told me what was in it and it sounded alright. I ate probably three bites of it (no crust) and hated it. That was what my lunch was. I didn't eat much at all yesterday. BUT, for dinner since I'm done with the phase one and I'm going to pretty much stick with phase one, but incorporate a few new meat ideas veggie burgers..etc. I bought something last night called Chicken Sausage-Sun dried tomato and provolone. It's only 130 calories, 6 fat grams, 1g sugar, 2 carbs, and 15g protein. Now it does have provolone..and I don't believe it's low fat. Other than that I can't see nothing wrong with it.
Do you guys think it could have been this?? Trying to figure out what my problem was yesterday. Actually the day before I gained half a pound too. Just doesn't feel right. I didn't post what I ate yestrerday since I was on the go so here it is.
B: egg substitute with onion, red bell peppers, and V8 juice.
S: soy latte, string cheee on the go
L: few bites of quiche
S: string cheese...back on the go again
D: Two of these chicken dogs and a salad with lf dressing.
S: cucumber slices
I know I need more veggies in here. But why the weight gain??
Well, you know you didn't overeat by 7000 calories, so it's not that. It could be the sodium (premade food), TOM, general fluctuation, water weight, muscle gain if you work out. 2 lbs is a normal fluctuation, even 3-4 lbs is. I have found that my weight drops 3-5lbs for two weeks then for 2 more bounces around, and then drops again.
I've finally realized, if I'm doing everything right, this is normal.
Stop weighing yoruself daily.
Don't weigh myself daily, I can't do that. Hell, I even move the scale around on the floor to see if it reads different amounts every morning.lol I know..pathetic, but its a routine EVERY day, I do this right when I wake u p.
My V8 has 10 grams of carbs per serving. I buy the organic low sodium one. I also eat SF everything. Quiche, I only ate like three small bites, it was gross. I only ate the cheese and egg mixture.
On SB we don't count our carbs since we only get them from lean meats, lf cheese, and veggies.
I'm starting to get burned out on a lot of foods I'm noticing. I need to get a little creative I think. I'm noticing I'm starving myself just because I don't want to eat the same thing over again. That is why I bought this organic chicken sausage. Plus like I told you in another post, I'm starting to crave that dreaded bread and stuff. I never really thought I needed a variety before. I never have before, but WOW do I feel like I need it now.

I agree with ya on the metabolic hell. For the sodium issue, I've been watching it and I don't think I've been going over the limit. I am buying the low sodium v8 juice also,, only 120?? grams I believe it was.
I'll just keep watching my salt intake and boost up my veggie eating. I need to start drinking more water too.
Good luck this weekend! :)
EDIT: Okay, I just looked at the sodium on these chicken sausages and they contain 570 mg a pop!ouch. I had two of them. Two pounds tho?? Who knows. lol They were good tho! I was too busy looking at the sugar, carbs, and calories on the things. Awww does this mean I shouldn't eat them anymore. lol I'm soooo wanting something new.
