"To blame my wrecked food plan on ONE or two dum choices is nothing more than a cop out. Just an excuse to not do the things that I know intellectually my body needs me to do.

Folks, please believe you can change, really change. I plea to each of you as well as to myself. Do what works, but don't cop out." Thank you for this!!!  For some odd reason- I really *needed* your words today! In particular... THOSE words!  It kinda slapped me in the face! In a GOOD way- in a REALITY sorta way. I really *need* to get myself back on track! I don't FEEL good, I'm NOT happy and NOT doing RIGHT for myself!  And I *needed* to hear this to stop feeling BAD about things and get back to work FOR ME! For my CHILDREN! Another thing- I find myself STRONGER if I come here and READ. And PARTICIPATE. I think it helps me feel the strength I felt the first few months. Somehow- it really DOES help!!! I've not written in my  blog since Feb 22! What is with THAT!? Time to become ACCOUNTABLE!!!!!!!!! Thank you for your strength and support- even at times you all never knew I was leaching off you!

Glad to see you back with us mama.  Now stay here and participate!lol  I think it really does make a difference.

Hope everything else is mellowing out for ya.  And no, I didn't hear about the Sitka murder.  You'll have to email me about it.  I don't get the paper right now so I sort of feel out of the loop.

Hope this reflection from my blog helps you start back on your journey. YOU CAN DO THIS!!!!!

If you think of weight loss in the same way as a journey in the car then you will accept the time taken to make the journey alot easier.

Imagine that the amount of weight you need to lose is the distance your journey takes. Imagine you had to travel a LONG way from A to B.... would you honestly expect to get in the car and drive directly from A to B?  No break? Never stopping? Of course not! If we tried to do that we would probably drive a certain distance then burn out, deciding we didn't really want to go from A to B and then head home. Right back to where we started.

As we travel our weight loss journey we stop from time to time for a break.  We do a little sight seeing, perhaps the car breaks down and has to spend time in the workshop, maybe we are just sick of driving at the moment.  That's OK!  Yes, the journey takes a little longer but we are more likely to continue to the end.  To actually arrive at B.

Think of your 'diet mistakes' as a little sightseeing journey.  The important part is to now get back on the road from A to B.

Best of luck with your journey.

I use you too, baby!  Everyone here has something to glean! I especially love to start my day with reading and typing here.  When work is too much, it is also good to look forward to reporting positively for myself! Yes, get back in here. And thank you.
