Lori,

Every single day we start again.  Every day we wake up and recommit ourselves to doing this yet one more day.

I do know what you are talking about as far as raising the blood sugar.  Oh yeah, that endless slide into carb heaven....or is it hell???  But you know what, you can do it, take my word for it.  I had a night like that the other night, out of the blue it came.  OMG I couldn't stay out of the cabinets.  Sheer willpower pulled me away.  I didn't do any damage because I refuse to look at it like that.  Next morning on th elliptical, back to the tracking, all was good.

I know you are tracking your foods.  Are you tracking  calories as well?  Personally I think you are a little too low in your consumption based on what I've seen.  You are working your ass off, your body is screaming for calories.  But, this is MY opinion only.  You know your body a hell of a lot better than I do, so take my keystrokes with a grain of salt.

Don't beat yourself up, just hop back on the wagon tomorrow.  I have faith in you!!!

It sure didn't need anything as evil as mashed potatoes.. and considering I can't lose an ounce lately.. .mama mia... I'd be totally fearful of getting on the scale tomorrow... 7 months... i haven't gone off the deep end... 7 months.... and now it's gotta be with mashed potatoes... OK... and after I wrote that post.. I went back and had more... then purged, but the damage to the bs is already done.  I WISH the gym was open..... I left the kitchen.  I've been cooking and cleaning for 2 days and having this crap in front of me is just too much so whatever they want to do with leftovers is up to them.. cause if I have to wash one more dish.. clear the table one more time.. I'm just gonna throw it all out. And I still have to make dessert.  How much work do ya think it'll take to work this off.

Good idea.. everyone just left... and Jon went to put gas in my car so when he gets back I'll either go out there or get on the bike.... don't know what good that will do at this point.. peshaw.. fighting myself? Oh.. Shari.. I put a full picture of myself on my profile.......   I did it on the way to the store today and just said to myself "just do it self"..... I don't know how to put it in a post.. but I put it in that albumn thingie...  that's a start. I'm so darned tired, I have to be honest.. 2 days of absolute craziness..........................   Jon will be home any minute (it gets reallllllllllly dark around here .. hard to see where you're walking.. yanno).

Lori....sorry to hear you slipped today, but that is behind you and you know you're capable of doing this.  We are all human...be kind to yourself...you haven't done irreparable (sp?) damage, I'm sure.  It's the beginning of a new day at this moment....go forward and don't look back. Okay, girl....I just looked at your picture and I want to know where the heck you put 230lb on that body?  Are you sure that's you?  I would NEVER guess you weigh that. Go enjoy your walk, breathe in some fresh air and come back ready to jump back on that horse....speaking of which, is that your Mustang?  What year?  We have a 2004 convertible that gets put back on the road April 1st...can't wait. A better day tomorrow for you....

Ya.. that's me.. today even.  And 9 lbs up from where I was last week.  I think I carry it pretty well.. I had a lot of years of power lifting and gymnastics.. etc... so I think it's kind helped me hold things up now.  I'm headed for 180.. and if I can get lower than that GREAT.. but I highly doubt it. I seem to be carrying a lot around the middle.. can't seem to shrink that part.... I dunno... I look horrid.. feels like I'm pushing 10 lbs of crap into a 5 lb bag in my workout pants.  yanno?

My stangers is a '99 anniversary edition.  I'd like a GT... but that could be dangerous with the way I drive anyway.  My first was an '85 that my husband bought me for my 21st birthday .. brandy new off the showroom floor.. I LOVED that car.  Since then I've had two '92's (used) and now this one.  The way it looks right now.. I'll never get another.. so I gotta realy take care of this one and it already has 81,000 on it.  It's gotta be a rag top.. yanno?   Hey.. it's got 4 wheels, runs ok.. and gets me where I need to go...so I'm happy.

We bought ours a year ago last January....2004 anniversary model, GT, convertible and only had 9,000 miles on it!  Guess the old guy who owned it only took it out for a Sunday drive!!  We fell in love and watching my SO with it is so much fun.  He becomes a teenager all over again when he gets behind that wheel and something happens to his testosterone level I swear...he even drags the teenagers on the parkway with it!  We managed to put almost 10,000 miles on it last year and it's been put up for the winter since November, so I'm really anxious to get it out of storage.  We're heading for KY for my granddaughter's baptism in a couple of weeks and then on to Hilton Head and stopping in Charlotte to see my SO's son.  Northing like having the sun shining and the breeze blowing through your hair.  I think I probably drop 30 years or so myself when I get in it!!!   LOL There's no fool like an old fool!!
