What did you eat today? 03/21

B: Yogurt (6oz, not 8 like I normally have) S: 4 buffalo wing drumsticks     Orange L: Turkey & Cheddar sandwich on oat bread D: No idea yet.

I'm buying new sneakers tonight (or tomorrow) to keep in my room to use with my treadmill.  I'm actually going to use the thing on Saturday (with luck).  Since I started my weight loss, I haven't exercised once - Not one time.  So this is a big deal for me to do.  Don't be surprised if I start posting questions or cry-outs for help regarding exercising.  You guys have been hella supportive of me since I started on my dieting last March.  I'm sure you guys will be just as supportive now that I'm starting to exercise.

Today is bad for me....eh Really bad! B: Nothing L: Nothing D: Probably nothing. I know I know I know.....I just dont have time today! Obviously, I never eat breakfast...even tho next week in Chicago...I might grab a piece of fruit or a yogurt from the Breakfast thing at the hotel. Post workout. Lunch...I didnt have time to grab anything. D: Right after I get out of work I am going to my parents...where I might eat something...Because my father and I are going to play poker which is at 6pm so we have to leave. Usually we stop and get something to eat after playing but its like freaking 11pm..I dont like to eat after 7pm these days. So if that happens...I might eat a salad I might not. I know for sure there will be some Captain Morgan w/ Diet Coke while I am playing poker lol. Atleast 2 or 3 of them. Which with me not eating and having the medication...Im gonna be a little giggly after the first one...but it relaxes me and makes me gutsy at the game lmao!

Good that you'll be bringing that into the equation.  On the treadmill, here's my getyastarted advice.  Of course you may need to get yourself acclamated, starting slowly if need be.  But when you feel up to it, the best thing you can do on a treadmill is shock your system.  how?  Constantly vary your routine with incline changes and speed.  You will get far more out of 15 minutes interval work than 30-60 of mild walking.   I'll tell ya, 2 months ago starting this I really feared it.  Ian would toy with my incline and speed and I'd freak out.  2 months later, what I freaked out at is "nothing" now and I can push harder than I ever imagined.  These days I can sprint uphill (6.0 on 6 incline) or run flat sprints at over 7mph. Don't fear it.  Dive right in! http://walking.about.com/od/treadmillworkouts/Treadmills_and _Treadmill_Workouts.htm

Went out to breakfast with Andrew around 11:00am.. had a hamburger patty but it didn't stay down.   Just had a cup of romaine w/ a tsp of blue cheese dressing and a sprinkle of romano....... so far so good.  (6:30pm)... Been sleeping on and off all day so...  not really working up the need to eat.

Go Janina!  I know you hate exercising, I've remembered your posts.  Maybe this will help the scale some.  I don't recall if you ever said if you broke  your stall or if you decided on going to the docs.  Either way I hope all is going well.  You don't talk much, so I never know!  Good luck on your bike.  I'm thinking about getting on mine myself, I've just been riding my bike.

Have fun!

Janina, best advice I can give is to set goals just like with your weight loss and strive to get as close to those goals as you can. B: 1/2c scrambled eggs, 3 pc lean bacon S: Fruit and yogurt parfait from McD's L: 1 cheddar brat, 1pc string cheese, 10 peanuts in shell, 1/4c grapes D: 2pc thin turkey lunchmeat, 2pc thin roast beef lunch meat, 2 pc string cheese, 1 tangerine S: 20 peanuts in shell We were on the road today and fast food joints were so tempting but I bypassed all but one thing. We stopped for gas and a little girl walked out with an orange soda. I caved. I drank about 3-4oz of it and passed it to my hubby and the kids. It was kind of funny tho. I thought they would drink it all. Was I surprised when they sent back 1/2 a bottle of soda! They were supposed to drink it so I couldn't! Oh well, I never did touch it after that. I just needed a taste and I was all good.

Yay, Neen!  THAT should get your plateau broken.  I love, love love to talk exercise, so bring it on!  My best advice for an exercise hater?  Just work on establishing the habit for now...whatever you do, just pick a time of day and name it holy. Thou wilt not disrupt holy time! Thou wilt move thy ass!  Even ten minutes, Thou! Just pick it, then stick to it.  My fud:   first of all, mood:  weird.  major layoffs at my work.  The HR director was loading his truck - leaving. Lots of people, real people, losing jobs. just sucks, that's all 1/2 scoop protein pdr + psyllium + 1/2 c nf milk nothing else all morning.....weird tearful meetings interlude..... 12:00 = 1.5 c squash soup w/pesto type seasoning (birthday luncheon) 3:00 = 1 svg hi pro cereal + 1 high pro kiwi flavor drink Major, stress relieving bike ride in big hills = 1.5 hours so far:  two beers + 1 shot tequila Planned:  2 more beers 1 3 oz pork chop + cauli + noodles weird day
