Atkins Day 10 - GOT BEEF???
My stomach is finally under control. I no longer have painful bouts of gas. My stools are regulated. The only time I have irregular or loose stool is when I eat a lot of lettuce. You say that when you eat this food you have stomach issues. I guarantee you that is because you're eating the bun, the fries and all the other stuff that comes with it. It does the same thing to me too when I eat those things. Try it for a solid week, just try it, it won't kill you.. I'm pretty sure your stomach will be just fine.
Find me a study to back up all of these "cardiologists" claims. What is so wrong with eating animals?? I agree that processed meats and man made additives are horrible for you, but you won't convince me (without medical studies) that eating animals and animal fat (with grease) is bad for me.
Folks, what I ate yesterday was the first time I've eaten like that in months, hell years! You act like I or other low-carbers eat that way every single day. That's jut not the case. It's OKAY to indulge in some fat.

You took this all wrong that is not what I meant at all. I am ok with eating animal shoot....hell yea I love meat lol. The question wasn't even towards you...it was just in general had nothing to do with low carb or anything just the fact of fat and grease as if there is a line on what is too much ya know. I never said low carbers or you yourself eat like that everyday...it was a question about the fat and grease if you consume too much ya know.
Anyways, it isnt the bun for me. The grease I have always been like this. And its actual stomach pain of vomitting not gas or anything like that. It upsets my stomach to where I want to vomit..I could eat buns all day and feel fine...maybe sluggish and very full lol but not sick. So its the greese from the meat or cheesy pepperoni pizza.
The saturated fats could contributed to clogged arteries if your triglyceride and cholesterol levels aren't correct. I had a lot of sat fat yesterday but that is NOT the norm for me. However, what people don't understand is that there are other foods that increase your bodies ability to deal with ALL fats. Things like walnuts, almonds, fish, garlic, salad lettuce all help your cholesterol levels. Walnuts, almonds, fish, flax seeds and several other meats will raise your HDL. Garlic, lettuce, flax seed and others will help lower your LDL. So even though you eat these supposed unhealthy fatty foods you're also eating others that help to counter it. Also, go to Hardees or Wendys and order a burger with no bun. Take a look at the grease content.. I think you'll be kinda surprised as it's not dripping with blood coagulating grease.
The truth of the matter is that the major cause of heart disease, clogged arteries and millions of dollars spent on cardiac related procedures is OBESITY. What causes obesity? You know the answer to that and it's not because you ate Wendys, Hardees, and McDonalds everyday. Get your weight down and then eat a well balanced diet consisting of FATS, protein, veggies, some whole grains/starches. Be sure to limit or avoid your simple foods like refined sugars, enriched flours, etc.

Actually....lol. I am obese due to fast food lol. Binging like crazy on it. Because in high school I didnt eat much of the stuff and stayed trim and fit....after high school BAM FAST FOOD galore evry freakin day so yes it made me fat lol. Well I made myself fat by eating it.
Hardee's was good tho wasn't it!? lol. Someone bought the Hardee's by me and now its a diner I was so sad to see it go...because I have no idea where one is..I know I pass one everytime on the way to Illinois lmao. I LOVE HARDEE'S They have the best fast food burgers EVER! lol ok.
You're obese due the volume of fast food you ate. Had you chosen home cooked meals you would still be obese. Tis true that fast food is not a good healthy choice but it's not the root cause of your obesity.
Hardee's has great burgers. Tasted like I was eating a steak! The bacon cheddars burgers weren't that good though. Those aren't the smokey tasting thick burgers but the regular burgers. I shouldn't have eaten them to be honest. I didn't need them and I think it may have been a binge session for me. Going long periods of time without food tends to do that to me. Still, that philly cheese steak thickburger was quite good!

One thing I know for sure. What made me fat was high fat foods ,not sweet crap. I gave up soda a few years ago and lost diddly. My problem has always been high fat fast food. I'm not saying sugar doesn't contribue to obesity because it definitely does. High fat will get you to the same spot though. Know way I will ever believe that McD's and all those are not voodoo! Take a look at the foods you eat and check the sugar content. Try to find a bread without corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup. It's difficult. Also, think back to the foods you ate as you were gaining. Think about all the carbs you ate. Was it really the fat you were eating or was it the carbs with the fat?
For me.. It's the carbs I was eating. Once I cut out those simple carbs and started eating more whole grains I started losing weight. Atkins helps me lose faster and get my lipid panel to a safer range.
McD's and all the fat food restaurants are voodoo, but you can still eat healthy at them when you're in a bind. Yesterday I had no time to stop and eat I had to eat on the go. By the time I got to dinner I was so hungry I didn't have time to cook and my wife was having an off day so I picked up dinner. That's all that happened. Normally my meals are much more 'healthy'.
