Thought about making some of that oopsie batter to use as like a bread. I'll put together a list of ingredients for this weekends grocery store extravaganza. Sunday will probably be a prep day.

FWIW, some people stall out on the low carb products.  Jus****ch for that and if it happens, remove from your diet.

Chris, one option would be to look into soy flour. I have some now that i use to make peanut butter cookies. Its low in carbs.. maybe 5 grams for a 1/2 cup.. Don't quote me on that. You could make a flat bread batter and cook it yourself! -Bud

Hmm... don't know Atkins view on soy but that's definitely an option for when I decide to increase my carbs. It's technically not a bread..its a bean. I suppose it then applies to beans on atkins. I can introduce SOME beans in phase 2. I'll have to check into soy.. After maintenance though beans are fair game. :) thanks!

Hey, Bud! Can I have your cookie recipe?  Doesn't soy have protein in it? Sounds like a great treat with the soy and peanut butter having protein...so more filling. Thanks! Bren

Just an off the wall idea. Cheese crackers? Bsically you put cheese like pamesan or whatever in a skillet and let it brown on both sides. It gets crisp like a cracker and then you can put toppings on it like a tostada. You can look them up on the internet.  They make a good RICH flavor snack. I can only eat one or two because they are so rich but they help when you need a crunchy snack or a cracker to go with your soup or salad. Beth

I wouldn't really call it burnt cheese just browned like on the top of casseroles and such. Yummy!

Chris, If none of this works for you, I say go to bed 10 min. earlier so you can wake up 10 min. earlier and cook you up something to put on a plate!  Whatcha think? Bren

Actually I have been working on that. I've been going to bed earlier and I'm finding I am so refreshed when I wake up. Now the problem is that I'm actually getting the amount of sleep that I need to and I'll have to go to bed even earlier to get up 10 mins early! lmao   Then there's the whole cleaning the dishes after I'm done! Aghhh!! hehe Ooo I could just leave them for the wife to do! hEHHEHEHEHE
