How did you stay healthy this weekend?

I had a pretty good couple days, health wise. Mental health, mainly! Stayed home with DH on Saturday all day long, baked a perfect pie, made candy for my DH. Saturday night:  attended a family birthday party, then took home 2 GS for the night.   Me & the GS took a late Saturday night stroll in the 'hood...we love to watch for animals, and take flashlights and hide for a while to see if anything good comes out. Helped Grandma settle her supper, too! Sunday morning, we hot tubbed, all three of us were at the park at 9:00 a.m. riding bikes, running all over trails until noon.  Then, we went bowling for the 5 yo party.  I just got home about an hour ago - cleaned up the house. Food was balanced and in the right portions.  I missed my big bike ride/walk, but not enough to have changed one thing about this weekend. I did not drink anything at all alkyholic except for Friday night. Saved calories! How about you all?????

I didn't do anything really. No exercise except for today, 2.5 miles on stationary bike. I did, however, focus on making wise choices when I went out to eat this weekend especially at the buffets.  It sounds like you had a fabulous time with the GS. Congrats.

-Exercise--pilates, cardio, weights, abs...did about 4-5 hours this weekend. -Food--gave myself a day where I allow a version of something tempting--this time s/f choc cov nuts.   -Sanity--new trainer, less drama.... -Friends--I've made so many friends at the gym, I love that I'll be in the cafe post workout, today working on a project that will pay for 10 sessions, and one comes and kisses me on the cheek twice, another once, a couple of waves.  I also had some compliments from Karissa and her boss Joe that made me feel good.  I guess that gets filed under Sanity too ; )

Hey Neecee! I was away all last week so looked forward to this weekend for catching up with the family.  On Saturday morning I went to the gym with my son and did my weight class for the first time since my operation.  Between the surgery, the new job and being away i haven't had time to go back to my class, which I love!!  I was cleared to go back to the gym on February 6 but had only been going at 5:30 in the morning with my son.  So that was fun although lemme tell you I am feeling it now!!!

Afterwards we went to the mall.  I took my 9 year old neice with me.  Well she's not my neice anymore, she's my ex-husbands sisters child.  She died at age 32 when Gabby was 18 months old.  My ex-mother in law is raising her and recently my ex moved his mother and his neice to our area from about 1 1/2 hours away.  We are still on great terms so I asked my ex MIL if she minded and of course she didn't.  So it was Gabby's first trip EVER to a mall.  My MIL has a hard time walking so mall jaunts are totally out.  The poor kid ends up spending a lot of time inside.  So we visited Build-a-Bear and the Disney store and of course every single costume jewelry store in the mall.  My SO said, "you wished you had a little girl, huh?"  I totally did miss it.  So afterwards we went to Red Lobster, another first for her, and then to get icecream.  By the time we pulled into her driveway she had fallen asleep, icecream dripping all over her clothes.  So a good day on Saturday!   Today I caught up with laundry.  Seems the washer and dryer don't work when I am not home, imagine that???  I also got up at 5 to allow my SO to sleep in and I walked and fed the dogs.  I also cleaned the house and the basement, Chris got me going on that one!!  So a rather busy and active weekend. Wow, sorry you asked, huh?

no, my weekends sounds similar...just more "butch"  LOL. I am having the exact opposite experience as grandma figure:  I raised girls and these boys are a hoot.  Running my po' ass ragged, but but are we having fun!  You post made me feel all oxytocin-warm!

tinkled...yup yup, we should be doing that! I did lots better saturday on my water - weekends are not as good for me to keep up on that part. cool, Bud!  Weather here was soul-satsifying, too.  We need the rain, so I want it back for a while. The little boys were saying, grandma...how much better can this be, sunny and cool, playing with my friends on dirt hills on our bikes...and i could not have agreed more (except inside I was feeling like the luckiest grandma in ten states!)  Even they noticed!

I had a very focused weekend.  Sickness is still lingering in my house so had to take my youngest to the doctor yesterday morning.  She's been hacking up a storm.

For myself, I think Core has really helped me be able to stay on SB this time.  Last time I was on it I think was only for a few weeks, or maybe even a week.  Today is only my forth day but I feel very good about the program so far.  I haven't been too tempted with anything either.  I was a little hungry one night, but I drank coffee and the craving went away.  Saturday we went to Golden Corral (buffet) and I stayed totally legal, felt great.

I'm ready for the week ahead of me!

Cleaned and did laundry all day Saturday, as well as grocery shopping.  Had friends over to play cards Saturday night and had my last pizza and wings for a while....regular style, anyway. Went to church this morning with my daughter and her family....good to see the grandkids and celebrate Palm Sunday.  Have spent most of the day planning my meals and grocery shopping for some last minute items to get me started on SB this week.  Trying to go into this really well informed and be prepared.  I so want to succeed this time and am feeling positive. Beautiful snowfall this morning and this afternoon the sun came out and I soaked up some of it on my sunporch...cool outside but nice and toasty there with all the sun through the glass.  Just enjoyed my current book "Pillars of the Earth" and relaxed.  Cooked corned beef and cabbage tonight for din din and back to reading tonight. Looking forward to tomorrow and the week ahead!

I stayed on plan, cleaned out the garage, tilled, hoed, and planted my garden and I spent some good quality time with the wife. It was a great weekend. It's a damn shame it's over!
