1 Ham & Cheese omelet (packaged 4g carbs)
Scrambled Eggs (Didn't eat very much of these)
8 pieces thin bacon (mmmm it's bacon!!)
Lunch:
8 slices pepperoni
2 slices Muenster
Dinner:
Eggplant Parmesan (4 quarter inch slices of eggplant in tomato sauce with melted cheese.)
Water:
80 ounces give or take a few.
I woke up about 10am and weighed. My broken scale read 278.5 lbs. I weighed 4 more times and got the same thing. I went to the other room to the analog scale. It read 291 lbs I think. Hard to see when it fluctuates. I ate breakfast and then had the wife look at it. It read 292 lbs. I'm gonna chock this up as a 3.5 pound loss. Might've been 4 but I can't be sure. Damned analog scale! Either way, 3.5 pounds down in 5 days.
I had lots of energy today. The day started of late. It was supposed to rain all day so we sat around til 1:00 and then finally decided to take a shower. It hadn't rained much all day. So we finally decided to get up and go out. No sooner than we got dressed it started storming outside. GO FIGURE! We wasted the day waiting on the rain when we could've been out there doing something. We wanted to start a garden and that meant I could rent a tiller and be all manly. Welp, there were no tillers to rent so I looked on craiglist and found one for 200 bucks. Rode out to the guys house and bought the thing. When I got home I ended up cleaning out and organizing the garage to get it ready for my tiller. :P It was raining like cats and dogs outside but I was working away. Had all kinds of energy.. and for once I wasn't getting out of breath. Bending over, climbing, crouching..all that stuff just kinda came easy. All that stuff used to be a chore to do last year.
My feet and back are killing me now. But once again, I love the pain because I got out there and did something! :) All was not lost on a nasty rainy day. Hunger was not an issue at all today. Around 7pm I started feeling a little gurgley feeling in my stomach and I realized I hadn't eaten dinner yet. After dinner I went back out to the garage and continued organizing and stuff. I've still got some more to do but tomorrow is reserved for playing with the new tiller! Time to make a garden! Supposed to be sunny and decently warm tomorrow! YAY!
Edit: Just realized that my broke scale was actually waying in the 270's...not the 280s. I suffer from mild dyslexia from time to time. (Seriously, I do. lol) So anyways, it actually read 278.5. This morning it read 275.5 and the analog read 290.
I'm really happy for you, Chris.
Energy, satiety, etc. You sound like you just feel "level". THat's the way I describe it for myself. Yeah for you!
If it ends up 5lbs in a week, that will be awesome.
I still think you're not eating enough (you should strive for 6 minimeals a day and your meals, except this breakfast, seem small). Other red flags, where the heck are your vegetables. The eggplant dinner? NOT ENOUGH. Have veggies in every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Also, watch out for tomato sauce, unless it's homemade--it has sugar and that can kill your results. Also, the packaged omelet--well, I'd suggest shying away from processed foods as they also can cause stalls.
More weight dropped off this morning. Broke scale 275.5, Analog reads 290. I'm gonna call it at 5 lbs. Might lose more tomorrow. :)
The omelet... YECH. I won't be eating those things again. I bought them because I thought they'd be good for getting off to work quickly. They taste nasty and aren't worth the 4 carbs.
Normally I have more veggies. I don't eat any with breakfast because well...We only eat potatoes with breakfast down here and I can't have those. :) I'll save veggies for lunch and dinner. Yesterday started getting busy around lunch so I just ate the pep to get me through quickly. I figured the eggplant would have been plenty of veggies for dinner. Filled me up.. felt satiated.. go figure! :P There was a lot of cheese on it. The tomato sauce was made with no added sugar. That's the kind I always buy. I think it had a few grams of carbs but had dietary fiber to boot.
I do feel level. I woke up this morning and was thinking about what I was gonna do today. Began to get ready and I realized. OMG, I have to eat breakfast too! Almost forgot! Imagine that. :)
Thx!!

Chris...I'm excited for you! Just think, you've almost completed your first week and already feeling all that energy! And I'm envious that you're already tilling the soil!! It's snowing here again this morning and Spring may NEVER come.
Keep up the good work...I'm rooting for you!
