Atkins Day 5 - I quit!!! NOT!!! hahaha
Breakfast:
2 egg patties
1 thin eggbeaters patty
2 sausage patties
1 slice muenster
Lunch:
2 grilled pork chops
5 grilled asparagus spears
1 pack green giant broccoli and cheese (7g carbs)
Dinner:
4-5 oz Prime Rib
10 small shrimp
3-4 small pieces hibachi chicken
4 bacon wrapped chicken thingies (real small lil thangs)
<1 oz salmon
4 hot wings
1/2 cup Spinach with cheese
Water: (Forgot this!)
I lost count at 80 ounces. I think I've had 2 bottles since then..? I have no clue. Either way it's enough.
Forgot to bring a snack today and I started feeling a little hungry around 5ish. No big deal though. Got home around 6:45 and went out to eat with the wife at the chinese joint. I avoided all the carbs but man did I ever stuff myself on meats. I'm guessing at my dinner menu. My belly tells me I ate WAY too much. But it was a buffet and I like to allow myself one day a week to go out and eat and indulge. Only difference is now I have to make sure I don't indulge in carbs.
I must tell you. I'm really starting to miss sugar. I'm wanting something sweet really bad. I kept eyeballing the cookies and desserts at the chinese place. This things normally turn me off cuz..well chinese desserts are just nasty. I went to the grocery store tonight and bought some cream cheese. I already have some splenda and I'll pick up whatever else I need tomorrow for a no-bake cheesecake. Gotta have something sweet before I mess up.
Overall the day was good. Not really a lot of hunger at all. I'm becoming very aware of how much sodium I'm eating. When shopping at the grocery store for my food for the week I made sure to find the lowest sodium I could. I learned that Wal-Mart does NOT sell any low-sodium sausage. Gonna have to figure something out there.. Perhaps I'll just omit some of the sodium later in the day. Still have all that processed pepperoni to go through yet. :P
Did you try the whipped cream on sugar free jello? It tastes so decadent.. really. See what your book has to say about grilling. Also, PLeASE remember, "eat until satisfied" doesn't mean "eat until you are rolling on the floor" LMAO Ps... what was on the wings to make them hot?

No haven't tried the whip cream and jello thing. I really don't like either one of those. I like the idea of using sugar-free jello and cream cheese together. :P
If the book tells me I can't grill then Atkins can kiss my hairy white ass. I'll continue to do his plan and will still eat grilled foods. I refuse to believe grilling food is bad. Now if you're saying it's a good thing..then I'll just shut up. :P
Friday is my do whatever night. I gotta have it to break the torture throughout the week. :) The rest of the week I've been trying to eat until satisfied. The problem I have is really knowing when satisfied is.
I assume it was hot sauce though it wasn't very hot. I have a high tolerance though. I'm sure it was loaded with sodium..but this is chinese we're talking about it's full of sodium.
