What did you eat today? 3/13

B: 1/2c cottage cheese, 1/2 grilled turkey, bacon, tomato, cheese sandwich (no bread or mayo) L: The rest of my breakfast...1/2c cottage cheese, 1/2 grilled turkey, bacon, tomato, cheese sandwich (no bread or mayo) D: open face tuna salad (low cal sf whole grain wheat toast), 2tbsp tuna salad (lf mayo), 1 orange S: peanut butter toast (1tbsp pb, one slice lc sf wg wht toast), 8 oz skim milk TOPS weigh-in again tonight. I hope it matches my sis' doc's scale cus it said I weigh 344. That would mean I have now lost 29 pounds.  It's weird. I really got excited the first few weeks I change my eating because the weight just seemed to melt off and it really fired me up to do this. Thing is, I am just as happy now losing 1-2 pounds a week because I know long term it adds up to soooo much more. I also know I am learning important things about me and my eating habits along the way.  I can't wait to go back to the doc to get my pills refilled. I think his jaw will drop. That will be the icing on the cake! Beth

WOOT WOOT! you go girl! that is alot of weight to lose, how long have you been working on it? You seem to be doing it the RIGHT way with the 1 to 2 pound a week loss, that is fantastic!

are you following any type of plan?

ok, i have been a bad girl today with eating so far, i was on the road all morning and had

1 bean burrito from taco bell

that is it so far, before 3 weeks ago taco bell would of consisted of 4 to 5 items depending on how hungry i was. I am STILL hungry but i held myself off enough to make it back home, i needed a filler because i was still out and about.

Now im going to go get for lunch from the kitchen:

1 banana

2 whole wheat tortillas

1/ 2 cup salsa

lettuce  4 of of boneless skinless chicken breast from steaming last night 1/8 cup of WW shreded mexican cheese yes im a mexican good fanatic!

I have been doing this since January 24, 2008.  I am following my plan that I created from researching post wls diets. I eat 3 meals a day w/ 1-2 snacks consisting of low sugar, low carb, high protein, low processed foods, small portions and no soda. I dont' always succeed each day but it seems those days I screw up spur weight loss on the days I do well. Basically, if I want something bad enough, I eat it and move on instead of throwing my hands in the air and giving up. To me, I am just eating sensibly in small portions.

My choices weren't great but eh. It still somehow works B: One of those individual servings of Applesauce L: Whole Wheat Lean Pocket (Turkey, Broccoli, & Cheese) 2 Nutter Butter cookies <--Shame on me lol D: I am not sure yet. I will edit tomorrow morning.

  Alright Beth!  29 lbs!  Keep it going!! Today..  so far...  6 eggs, scrambled. Ok.. coming back in to fix this up. b.  2 eggs w/ .18 cup of broccoli and .18 c cheddar s.  2 eggs w/ .18 cup of romano, asiago, provolone and mozarella blend l.  (late lunch.. around 3:30)  2 eggs w/ .5 serving of shaved ham (25 cal worth) and .18 c shredded cheddar D.  2 eggs w/ .5 serving shaved ham topped w/shredded cheddar      4 pieces of sugar free bacon (140 cal) I know this is a lot of eggs... but I'm trying to force myself back into ketosis.  After the second round of eggs I started throwing ketones.  If I'm back out by tomorrow, I'll ditch the cheese but for the next few days I want to go with meat and eggs to push the fat burning.  All of this stuff did come to just about 1300 cal

That is awesome! Hang in there, baby! My day: 7:00 = EAS drink 110 cals 9:00 = hi protein cookie 150 cals 12:45 = pasta bolognese - hi pro style 200 cals + apple slices ~80 cals 3:00 = 1 small protein bar 150 cals 4:00 = 1 bag bbq balls hi protein 130 cals One hour wog inserted here! 6:45 pm = 1.5 c chicken stew + 1/2 dumpling + 1 slice rye bread w/ butter  EDIT:  forgot to list steamed broccoli w/fresh lemon, about 1.5 cups ~600

B:  two eggs and canadian bacon

S: 1/2 c cottage cheese

L:  salad with broccoli, canadian bacon, and lite blue cheese (two tbsp) 

S:  30 pistachios  (yay, I've missed my nuts)

D:  pork chops with asparagus

S: sf fudgsicle!!!  omg I'm going to love this.
