Yea I had tons of recipes. I just don't ALWAYS have the time to make it. And it was boring. Salad...cheese...eggs....meat....I dunno I got bored. Decided for the second time Atkins still sucked on my terms. I wish I could do it lol because it does wonders for people. But eh I will just go with the non dieting route. Still eat healthy but...I can have more than 20 CARBS! :)  I waste ALOT of food tho...like if I was to make something and there are left overs....I wont eat it...unless ofcourse its pizza. I just eat it one day and the next im like ew I just ate that yesterday. So I try to keep my grocery list low in cost and volume. So most of the time I didnt have the ingredients either.  The little samples werent a big deal, its not like you had a basket of em or anything.  So keep it up!!!!! :)

Red flags-- fried calimari is breaded sausage, peanut butter and BBQ seasoning/sauce often have sugar

Yah aware of the breading, which is why I had 2 small pieces. The zucchini was also bread. Had very little of that stuff. The BBQ seasoning didn't have sugar. It's a powdered seasoning. The peanut butter has 4 grams net carbs with only 2 grams of sugar. This was a bad choice but I did manage to only eat a 3/4 serving. I'm still in ketosis, but I am definitely going to super avoid the type of carbs I had yesterday. I think the type of carbs and the long period of time I went without food contributed to my desire to eat something sweet.  To be honest, had I not been in control this would have probably turned into something really ugly. :P  On a positive note, it was exceptionally easier to control myself this time than it was when I was eating balanced meals.

powdered seasonings can have sugar. but sounds like you're looking carefully...just don't make a lot of little adjustments or you'll lose out....

Smuckers has a peanut butter that has NO sugar. It is all natural. The only two ingredients are peanuts and salt. It's the kind that separates and has to be stirred. It is a little gritty but if you really want peanut butter, it's an answer. Beth

Atkins folks have to be real careful with PB.  It can lead to stalls.  Nuts have a time and place..in moderation.  But most brand PBs have sugar.

Yeah I saw that stuff.  Looked yummy with all that oil! hehehe  I can't have peanuts or peanut butter during induction but phase 2 will allow me to have some nuts. I'll probably buy a jar of the smuckers then.  And hopefully I won't be cheating anymore! :P
